Ian Hogg Encylopedia of Ammunition,
By The Hermit "The Hermit" (Appalachia) - See all my reviews
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Illustrated Encyclopedia of Ammunition (Hardcover)
Ian Hogg was a warrant officer in the British Army. A prolific writer, he specialized in weaponry. If you watched the History Channel "Tales of the Gun" series you will remember him as a frequent speaker on the program. This particular book has long been out of print. It deals with small arms ammunition, but also mortar and artillery ammunition. I wanted it to round out my collection of his books, but I would not have purchased it solely for the section on small arms ammo, which is relatively small.
