Book Description

November 25, 2004
An in-depth explanation of an amazing healing system, with remedies for the practitioner.

Discovered by Dr Edward Bach in the 1930s, the thirty-eight Bach Flower Remedies form a system of healing for the negative emotions and attitudes that can interfere with health and happiness.

This attractively illustrated book provides a detailed description of each remedy, together with case histories relating to each one to help the reader appreciate how they may be put into practice. The descriptions and cases have been compiled from the Bach Remedy Newsletter, originally edited by Nora Weeks, Dr Bach’s successor and close companion. In each issue she featured a remedy along with a collection of her own case notes, and because they represent such an authoritative text, Philip Chancellor, with her blessing has compiled them to create this book.

Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher

Charles William Daniel (1871-1955) was a maverick free-thinker whose tiny publishing house had august links with many of the most influential thinkers and movements of the 20th century. To wit, copies of Daniel's books could be found in the library at Ghandi's ashram. This spirit lived on after his death, and the company maintained its niche by publishing definitive texts on a variety of spiritual and esoteric subjects. Many of these titles, notably those on Aromatherapy and Bach Flower remedies, have become standard works on the subject. When the C.W. Daniel list went looking for a new home, the Vermilion and Rider imprints were the natural place for this wonderful collection of authors. --This text refers to an alternate Paperback edition.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best Bach Flower; books, precise and concise., October 21, 1999
This review is from: Illustrated Handbook of the Bach Flower Remedies (Paperback)
Rudolph Ballantine, M.D., in his new book, Radical Healing (an outstanding work) states is well: "... this well-worn volume is still my favorite reference for the English essences. It accurately reflects the 'generic' nature of the Bach remedies, whose scope seems to be broader than the many more specific remedies now available." Personally, I love Chancellor's work and feel my health library is not complete without it. Chancellor uses language precisely and describes each remedy in concise detail.
