review of Equus Anatomy book,
By
This review is from: The Equus Illustrated Handbook of Equine Anatomy, Volume 1, The Musculoskeletal System: The Anatomy of Movement and Locomotion (Spiral-bound)
The Equus Anatomy book is a great book for learning the equine anatomy of movement and function. I am a massage therapist and have a hard time finding books that are not at a basic level. This book is detailed with pictures and full definitions.

Nice little book, with good illustrations. Buy it if you'd like to know more about equine anatomy, but don't want to read a big long book.

I like the quality of information and the flap to use as a book mark.

Some of the information is incorrect or not very clear. A few diagrams have been labelled incorrectly which initially made it very confusing and was only clarified once I cross-referenced with another text.

Anatomy of the Horse Volume I,
By
This review is from: The Equus Illustrated Handbook of Equine Anatomy, Volume 1, The Musculoskeletal System: The Anatomy of Movement and Locomotion (Spiral-bound)
The Equus Illustrated handbook on the anatomy of the horse was exactly what my 14-year-old granddaughter wanted for her birthday. She plans to be a veterinarian and is collecting books to read and study. It was so easy to find the book, order and have it shipped to her. It saved a trip to the bookstore and or the post office. Marvelously easy.
