The review posted by Michelle Dean "Scrpbknut" is for a different version of this same title. Her review is for the free version posted by Amazon Digital Services and their free versions do not include graphics.

I am not sure how her review became attached to the version of "An Illustrated History of Ireland" that I edited but please be assured that my version DOES include ALL illustrations and a linked Table of Contents and appropriate page breaks.

There are NO Illustrations, NO chapter breaks or table of contents that would allow you to move around the book. Better off to buy a hard copy. Some books just need to be touchable I suppose.

purchased a hardcopy of the same book seen in the image provided, and there was not one image to be found, just odd type font, not normal for your average book. it seemed almost similar to the font type used for this very review (as i write this).

Amazon, what are you doing to your Kindle readers? I just want the above book in Kindle version with all the drawings and index, however, it seems there are various versions without any clear indication which version has been edited by Robert Post with the drawings and index.
Apparently we cannot expect Amazon to bring any clarity, so who can help me picking the right apple?

This seems to be a fascinating book written just after the famine. However, the previous review notwithstanding, the file I downloaded has no TOC or illustrations. Without these (especially the TOC!), I quickly gave up trying to read it.
