Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Illustrated Mercury Buyer's Guide (Illustrated Buyer's Guide) (Paperback)
Cover says it is a Mercury Illistrated book when in fact inside in the foreward it says due to lack of collector interest Mercury Montegos will not be addressed. Even though they were manufactured for a DECADE. Whoever was in charge at the publisher needs to be drawn and quartered. It just so happens the Montegos were the ONLY reason I purchased the book. While they were mentioned, it was only in passing. Lame.

Does feature some beatifully sculpted Mercurys from the early 1940's and most of the vehicles are accompanied with production numbers. While the S-55 was assembled for a couple years it is acknowledged. Due to their lack of amount has anyone ever seen one? Even at a car show? I saw one, for sale in the paper, for days, because nobody would purchase it.---

The Cyclone and Spoiler are recognized and they are interesting. There is some useful data and at the end there is a list of Mercury clubs and that is interesting, I wonder if any are still in existance or still use the same address.

Some decent pictures, though all in black and white. A resource for Merc fans, which they might already have.
