This review is from: Illustrated Pearl Harbor Attack (Kindle Edition)
In 2004 Larry Kimmett and Margaret Regis published the paperback "Attack on Pearl Harbor". Although modest in size, the book has built a solid reputation as an excellent introduction to America's "Day of Infamy".The work is now available in electronic form as "Illustrated Pearl Harbor Attack", and the authors have made good use of the potentials of the new medium. The layout is deceptively simple, but the information is rich and dense, including over 200 historic photographs and numerous maps and diagrams. There are many Pearl Harbor books available, but for a thorough and factual account of what happened in Hawaii that day, as well as a useful summary of the historical context, this one is hard to beat. |
