The listeners are o/k/ with saying, there was this man that... or I am told that ..., knowing that the preacher is using a storehouse of wisdom. Don't order from this seller if you want the book anytime soon. After more than 6 weeks, my order hasn't even shipped yet! Ridiculous!!!

This is a good reference. I have enjoyed using it every now and then when I need to come up with a good illustration for a concept I'm teaching. Sometimes, the ideas in this book actually help me think of illustrations from my own life to draw from, so it has been helpful in that way too.
