3.0 out of 5 stars No book. Only DVD., December 2, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Illustrator CS3 One-on-One (CD-ROM)
I thought this was a book and DVD like all the other series of One-on-One by this author. Since I have other series from this author I wanted to try this one as well. I ordered it and did not realize until I got it that it was just a CD in a case. That's it. NO BOOK. For $150.00 I feel there should be an accompanying book so I am returning the CD. I can't rate the actual product since I did not open it, but wanted to warn others about what you get for your money on this one.

5.0 out of 5 stars learing Illustrator CS3, August 7, 2008

If you are looking for an efficient way to learn complex software like illustrator then I can recommend the Lynda.com DVD with Deke McClelland. You can work at your own pace, no need to travel to a class room, you can work along with Deke with the exercise files included with the video. The training has a good structure, exercises come in a good order. For me this is a 5 star training.
