It is full of biblical animations (amazing animations) like Shrek and Monsters Inc. Has many bible studies as well as life application note. Truly a must for those who want to study the bible!

We finally have a program that reflects the Love and completeness any Christian would expect for the greatest occurrence of all time.
We have allowed the world to take the lead in using technology to reinforce their own ungodly ways, but this program more then meets the challenge of catching up and conveying the Gospel to this techno age. This software is more then worthy of our purchase and it is so reasonably priced for what you receive. Ilumina continues in its own way to stimulate continued study and refreshment in G_d's Word in this so easily distracted society.
From novice to the learned, "Ilumina Gold Premium Software" will place a smile onto the heart of every believer who is seeking G_d's Grace and Wisdom.

Many different ways to optimize this software. Also the visual add-ons are great. I would say the only thing holding it back would be a want for more media. On the other hand a great bible study tool for home study and/or teaching use.

The "Flagship" for this program was certainly the 3D Animations. People who spent up to $100 (price has recently dropped) on this will be disappointed by the limited amount of animations. The animations are somewhat bland but still enjoyable. As to the encyclpedic content, its there, but not terribly special or immersive. Not much in the way of options for encyclopedias and dictionaries or commentaries.

Most infuriating of all was the "Church History" Timeline. It should have been called the "Lack of Church History" timeline. I can understand protestant Christians wanting to stick to protestant theology, but the timeline essentially pretends that the majority of the 1,500 years of Church history prior to the reformation didnt exist! Nor did the Catholic church exist, or at least you'd think so with this timeline.

For bible study, I'd go with E-Sword, FDB, or Logos. Glo looks pretty good too, but I havent tried it.

I would recommend this to any curious christian, or curious nonchristian! I'm 20 years old and I enjoy using it! It's fun and informative, and the animations are my favorite part

Love this software!!! I use it on a daily bases, and love the extra's.
The only complaint I have is the scrolling arrow it is a bit to fast, so I use the bar instead. Great resource for any age of beliver.

It's an excellent bible study program for all ages. I highly recommend it to everyone.

So far it has been great. Our church uses it and think it will be very helpful with the pictures for the young ones to actually see.

I have been using Ilumina for years and recently updated to this 1. It's even better. The NLT version is very readable. I still depend on th KJV, but use this to really understand it. I like the side by side NLT & KJV, makes it very easy to compare and see that the NLT is saying the same, just in a more understandable language. Good teacher resources as well.
