"Where is God?" is a question that any parent teaching their kids will one day have to answer. This book helps parents answer that question while conveying the profound mystery of it all in a fun way.

In this story, likable Ilyas pairs up with Duck to ask the one question over and over in different scenarios. With whimsical and poetic replies, Ilyas slowly begins to realize what his question truly means. And by the end, his childish curiosity is fulfilled with profound realizations.

Great book, high quality, and definitely recommended to all Muslim parents.

My sons love this book and read it every night, even when I give them other options...they will still pick this one. My four year old has memorized the entire book. It's an amazing book to introduce such a hard concept to youngsters. In a society where most kids have dogs as best friends, I love how he included Duck as the best friend. Beautifully written!

This is a beautiful, heartwarming story. My preschooler really enjoyed this story. As a parent who is often asked to read the same book over and over, I really enjoyed the illustrations that added a comical touch to the story. Loved Duck! I also liked the info on the animals at the end and enjoyed seeing a hoopoe bird featured in the story. As an elementary school teacher, I value stories that have educational aspects to it. As a Sunday School teacher, this story would be a great circle time read. As an aspiring writer, this story was professionally written and beautifully illustrated.

I am really looking forward to many more Ilyas & Duck stories in the future.

I was looking for a book to give a few friends of mine who are just beginning their families and who are inspired to raise children of deep spirituality. I found this was a great general Islamic children's book -- that is, not specific to Ramadan or manners or all those other great lessons. What's more, beyond being a book about contemplating the nature of God, at such an early age, it is a book that can be used to encourage children to question and to think, to be inquisitive, not just about matters of religion and spirituality, but about the world around us, the customs we follow, the things we believe and the actions we do. It's a great mix of encouraging belief in and love for God while also challenging our Muslim kids to be critical thinkers -- a weighty and invaluable combination.

This is a beautifully illustrated book and teaches what could be a difficult concept to grasp in an amazingly simple way.

It's tough to find Islamic books with this level of quality and design and it was completely worth every penny. Now I just wish their were more like this!

We have bought SO MANY books aimed at Muslim children and this is far and away the best. You can read it again and again, graphics are clean, writing is easy for small children to follow and animal facts will be interesting for elementary school children. Totally worth the price. Looking forward to more like this.

This colorful.book is a must read for all curious Muslim kids. The author has done a great job answering the commonly asked question "Where is God?" At the same time it is fun to read. I highly recommend this book to all.

My husband picked up this book at ISNA over the weekend, and already my 4 year old has asked him to read it to him every night, and has memorized the words. Answers the basic question of "Who is God?" to preschoolers in a fun and interesting way, and the illustrations are great, reminding me of Eric Carle books. I actually think this book would be great for Christians and Jews in addition to the Muslim audience.
