If you're looking to be inspired and amused, this is the book for you.

Ellis has lived through some hard times and worked even harder to get where he is today. It's really, truly inspiring to read this story as someone who had a fairly "normal" upbringing. Reading some of the stories in this book (and listening to the stories told on Ellis' radio show on SiriusXM Faction) causes me to sit back and think "wow, if Jason can get through it, I don't have an excuse to not try." It's time to harden the f' up.

In-between all of the hilarious and almost unbelievable stories you'll find in this book there's something insanely relatable about his struggle, and that's why I'll always consider myself a fan of Jason Ellis.

Red Dragons.

If you are a fan, you will love it. Imagine "The Dirt" but better. Ellis is a tragic hero who can't help but make you laugh. Get on board with him before you miss the Big Effing Mega Boat.

I am a huge fan of Ellis and Tully and love hearing all the stories on the radio, but this book brings even more to the party. It is extremely entertaining and inspiring.
Having Tully write the book was the best idea ever. His in depth knowledge of Jason Ellis really helps to capture Ellis's thoughts in his own unique dialog.
You do not need to be a fan of the Jason Ellis show to enjoy this book. The stories will entertain anyone who doesn't mind a few f'bombs. :)

I, as well as many others, have been patiently waiting for this book to come out since it was first announced on the show in early 2011. The wait is finally over, and it was worth it. I read through the book in one sitting, which is something that I don't normally do, let alone read many books in general. Michael Tully (Author) artfully crafted Jason's trials and tribulations in such a way where they flow, and have proper grammar, yet still give you the feeling as if Ellis is telling another story of his youth over the SiriusXM airwaves. Each story will have you thankful that your childhood was easier than his, while at the same time showing you how important it is to harden up.

I recommend this book to not only fans of Jason Ellis, who probably are already reading it, but to any fans of comedy, adventure, triumph and the F word. More importantly, if you are not yet a fan of Jason Ellis and stumbled upon this page, do yourself a favor and give it a read. Chances are you will enjoy it, and even if you don't you'll know someone who would.

Share the book with friends, spread the word and get more listeners for Ellis so the "Jason Ellis Show" on Sirius XM Faction 41 can grow to the proportions it rightfully deserves.

If you're a fan of Ellis it's great, and everything we have expected from him. If you don't know Ellis or the Ellisfam yet I highly suggest reading this, and assure you that you won't be disappointed. Well done Ellis and Tully, thanks for all of the inspiration and laughs.

Very well written. Extremely funny. Incredible story about someone, who, when they put their mind to it, can achieve anything. Good on ya, mate!

This book is a must for everyone that listens to Jason Ellis on Sirius XM. In fact, anyone that is interested in MMA, skateboarding, or any of the other so-called "action sports" should take a serious look at this book as well.

But this book is much more than just a story for Ellis and Action Sports fans. It's a book for anyone that enjoys reading a genuinely interesting story about someone that is truly living their life (as opposed to just floating along) and honest about their experiences. Jason's story gives a glimpse into what drives some men and women to excel. And it shows how failure and adversity are a part of the process. With Mike Tully's help, Jason Ellis tells the story of his life's journey in a fascinating, funny, and often moving book. Thanks guys for keeping me entertained and inspired.

I originally purchased for my husband, he listens to Jason Ellis' show on 'Serious' Satellite radio.....he loved it! So, I decided to read it too - even if you don't know who this guy is - it's a very good autobiography/story of his crazy life. He has definitely lived a 100 lives and is LUCKY to be alive. A fun, (not for kid's under 16 to read - in my opinion) crazy, fast summer read. My mom, who's in her late 60's, is reading it now.
