Look no further than Belton Richard, an accomplished accordion player and cajun singer. I heard some of his songs growing up, but I had no idea who it was at the time. If you love cajun music, especially the songs that aren't in English, then this is the guy for you. Very few of his songs have English in them, but I still thoroughly enjoy his music, as it's some of the best I've ever heard.
