"I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)" by the Proclaimers is about as high energy as a pop song can be. Positive lyrics, intense beat, great singing and musicianship help keep this song on my running playlist workout after workout.

Scottish identical twins, Charlie and Craig Reid -- these two brothers harmonize and sing off of each other well. Though only a modest hit in America, hitting #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1988, it lives on as a stadium anthem in Scotland, and in pubs everywhere.

It is a schmaltzy love song with a catchy refrain. If that's OK with you, give it a listen.

"And when I come home(When I come home), yes I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the man who comes back home with you."

Anthony Trendl

This was an extremely easy downloading process from Amazon.com. This is a classic song that really portrays the Irish Mind set. The quality of the sound is excellent and digital. I use this song on my cell phone as a ringer. This song really takes you on a journey into the Irish world. I loved the song and sound quality. I would recommend when downloading songs or such that you first check Amazon.com first before your download. They have a wide selection of songs to choose from. The price of this download was less than a dollar, inexpensive and easy to download. It took a matter of seconds for the download.

This is a pretty catchy tune laced with heavy Scottish accents. All about what a man would do for his woman . . . like walk 500 miles . . . and then walk 500 more. Good stuff.

One thing, though, is there's a line in the song that sounds like "And when I havel, I'll be havellin' to you. . . ." No idea what that means. If it's "haver" I still don't know.
