This book is a quick read with a long-lasting message. The author's realization is shared with the reader in a humorous and straight-forward manner. The overall message is a wonderful one that I plan on working hard to keep in the forefront of my mind on a daily basis. Once you become comfortable with yourself, you can refocus your energy on helping others to feel comfortable in their own skin.

When I started reading I'm Good Enough for Me, I couldn't put it down until the whole book was read! It is for anyone of all shapes and sizes. I am actually a size 0 and was self-conscious of my "stick" figure growing up. But this book really makes you step back and take a good look at yourself for what's really there! Just by reading it made me think more positively toward other women and in turn made me feel better about myself! What a great book for younger girls growing up in such a vain society!!

It has such a wonderful message and I cannot wait to start telling my self everyday that I am good enought for me!!!! And I did laugh, because I remember being in those conversations with friends, then and now, about how one should wear this and I should wear that!!! I have to say...I was hooked!! And I cannot wait to read it again!! And how we need to smile at the other women and find something you like about them will start to make you feel better....I have to tell you, in church one Sunday, our minister was talking about encouragement and how if you start encouraging, you will feel encouraged, that makes me think of the same thing!!! She has done what all of us in school wanted to do, and you know, I absoulutley hated myself, especially in high school, and it isn't fair how society makes everyone think you have to be a size 0 to be perfect!! I just bearly started liking myself, but because of this book, I think I am going to start loving myself....I cannot thank her so much for writing this book, it is truely an inspiration!!!
