61% unrelenting funk,

There's a full album of unbelievable funk split between this and volume 2. The net result is a couple of tracks on each which aren't as completely bootyliscious as, say, Hang On In There or Give Me Your Love, but don't let that stop you from picking this up. After hearing the Stovall Sisters on the radio I had to have this album, and one or two misses is a pretty good ratio for a comp. I'm still trying to track down more tracks by a few of the more obscure artists here, without much luck.

the album captures the essence of bar groove mixed with a little funk and some strong feminist lyrics! all in all it's a great buy that you won't ever let go of! don't even think about it any more! go for it! share the good woman experience!
