More About the Author

Paris Morris wrote her first book in the My Friend Paris series, I'm Having Twins, when she found no childrens books addressing the issues she was going through while her parents were expecting twins. Her second and third books, My Twins are Coming Home, My Twins' First Birthday, My Twins' First Halloween, My Twins first Christmas were borne of her experiences during the first year of her twin sisters' lives. Paris Goes to Lake Tahoe is the child author's fourth book and is the first of her travel books. Her younger sister Liberty has released Paris goes to San Francisco as the seventh book in the series along with Paris Goes to Los Angeles. Paris and her sisters live in Danville, California where Paris is a junior in High School. Paris' books are available for sale on Amazon.com.

Paris and her father go to the San Francisco Zoo, trick or treating and other fun things. She talks about what it will be like to be a big sister.Paris also gets to attend the baby shower, where she also gets some gifts. The book is written well. The illustrations are nice, bright and colorful. The book is written to the level of the understanding of a preschooler. I highly recommend this book.

Are you having twins, or know someone who is? My niece just had twins joining her preschooler, so I am in search of anything twin related, especially books. I happened upon this book, part of a series, written by a little girl who is now a big sister to twins. She explores the pending birth of her siblings from why mommy has to rest so much to helping decide on the babies' names. This is a great book for young siblings expecting an even bigger surprise. It is an easy read, with colorful artwork and adds local charm if you are from the San Francisco area.

Got this book for a gift for a little girl expecting twin sisters. Great story and almost identical to the actual girl's story. She loved the book and made her even more excited for the arrival of her baby sisters!

I'm expecting twins (girls) and have 2 year old daughter, so the plot fits perfectly to our reality. There are certain elements that I really liked that were exposed in the book like bedrest and staying with your grandparents before going to the hospital. I definitely think this will help my daughter get familiarized with these concepts when the time comes. I did expect a little more from the story, from all the reviews I read, but it's an OK book. Specially since there are not much options to prepare your little one for twins.

Big sister Paris's account of her Mommy's pregnancy with twins is a must read for any child whose Mommy is bringing home a new baby or two! Written from the perspective of three year old Paris, the feelings of an older sibling are explored and explained making is easy for any child to identify with the anticipation of becoming an older brother or sister. After reading I'm Having Twins, the first in a series of Paris books, I bought the rest of them for my kids.

I have a 2 year old niece who just loves Paris Morris' books and this was no exception! I I got it for her birthday and she hasn't put it down since. She loves the story and the pictures and every time I go over it's story time! It's the story of a little girl whose mom is about to have twins and everything she has to go through to deal with that. Do yourself and the young child in your life a favor and get them I'm Having Twins by Paris Morris.

Such a cute book about a childs' way of preparing for new babies in the house! Great read for those families that might have a child already and are expecting twins or even just one new baby. Illustrations are adorable as well. Would definitely recommend this book to my friends and their families! :)

I very much wish that I had stumbled upon a book like this when I was 3 years old. This particular adventure, which is a series written by Paris, elaborates on her anticipation and reactions to welcoming her baby twin sisters into the world. At the age
Paris was in this particular book, I was anticipating the arrival of one baby sister. But one baby or two, the emotions are pretty much the same. So this book, and the style in which it was written, would have been at my bedside if it had existed back in the 1970s.

It seems to me that this book would be helpful for any child who is aware of and living day to day with someone who is expecting. Be it a sister, or even a niece, or a neighbor. But most definitely if the situation involves TWINS, this is spot on. But the emotions, observations, reactions, and descriptions all could resonate with any child who is wondering about what it will be like to have a sibling (or two).

The illustrations are great, and full of life ; with Paris opening up to the reader and welcoming you into her world. The scenarios which are likely more specific to twins could prove to be very helpful for any parent or caregiver who is comforting and educating a child whose world is soon to be turned upside down with the birth of twins. The book offers a very positive and healthy spin on the entire experience. And Paris manages to share her feelings in such a way that I think would calm any anxieties or apprehension in a child of any age, who is the sibling of twins.
