I came across this CD by accident and now am buying copies for friends. It's mellow; that's the best way to describe it. Not Musak, but gentle background sounds for a classy dinner party, or for sitting around a fire alone or with company. The musicianship is first rate, the selection of tunes nicely balanced. All in all, a fine addition to any collection.
