I enjoyed this super cute sleuthing episode with CatKid.
Definitely a good one to read to your little ones. She's bound to tickle with her antics.

Do you believe in ghosts? CatKid does. She is sure her bedroom is haunted. Every night she hears squeaky noises coming from right above her bed, but no one will believe her.
CatKid is one whole-half cat and one whole-half kid. She talks like a kid and goes to school like a kid, but she definitely has a cat side, too. She loves to have her ears scratched, and fish sticks are her favorite food. But no matter what she does and what she likes, she is still sure there's a ghost in her room. After her father tries to convince her there are no such things as ghosts, CatKid asks her friends what they think. They aren't really sure. Things that make noises at night are pretty scary for anyone. With the help of several friends, CatKid creates a plan to catch her ghost and prove to everyone that it exists once and for all. Can cookies, a little bit of baby powder, and some string really catch a ghost? Or is something else going on in the attic above CatKid's bedroom? I'M NO FRAIDY CAT! is the first in the new CATKID series by author Brian James. Sure to be a success with the younger set, it presents a creative story with lovable characters and a funny, surprise ending. Reviewed by: Sally Kruger, aka "Readingjunky" |
