5.0 out of 5 stars Lalaine is Here!
"I'm Not Your Girl" is Lalaine's first main-stream single after being signed on Warner Bro label, Reprise. Lalaine has a few years experience in the business already, her discography is impressive when you remember she's normally acknowledged as "that girl from Lizzie McGuire".

Listening to this for the first time I wasn't sure what to expect. I'm a big fan...

1.0 out of 5 stars A Little Bit Better Than Hilary Duff
Lalaine is following her co-star of 'Lizzie McGuire' but only manages to do a little better than her.
She sounds like she's trying to hard to sound rock-like.
Don't waste your money.

I'm a big fan of Lalaine's work and have been for some time now. Her first, and now unavailable, album "Inside Story" sits proudly in my CD collection for all to see. "Who's that?" I hear for the tenth time this week. Ladies and gents, you're about to find out. Lalaine's on her way to the top, and if this is her way of making an impression, she's just made a fantastic one.

Lalaine's vocals on the song are breath-takingly powerful, most definitely a step up from her usual style. Those who managed to find "Inside Story" will be in for a nice surprise. Lalaine carries herself well throughout the song and has a form that makes you want to listen to the track on loop time and time again. Looking towards lyrics, it's a song hard to not like. Lalaine isn't your ordinary industry-churned-out rock-gal. Lalaine's for real.

Keeping it short, give the preview a listen, then buy it. Forget Disney, forget "Lizzie McGuire", Lalaine's time now!

5.0 out of 5 stars Lalaine Rocks!, January 27, 2006
This review is from: I'm Not Your Girl (Audio CD)
I much preferedd her concert when I first heard both songs and hopefully ones that will be on her new album. lthough the single can get tiring because it only has 2 songs, it rocks! Lalaine is very talented, just a great all around inspirational person (in my opinion). To learn more about her, check out http://lalaine-fans.com

And by the way GoodVibesman7, it's "Noise From The Basement". I also own/love that Skye Sweetname cd, but I do not believe Lalaine is a wannabe. They sound nothing alike.

4.0 out of 5 stars Listen Up People!, September 12, 2005
This review is from: I'm Not Your Girl (Audio CD)
I understand where some of the negative reviewers are coming from. I absolutly hate this new rock/pop, punk/pop fad that has been going around. I myself listen to heavy metal and such. Now why would a person who listens to heavy metal listen to Lalaine? Well I like to review things first of all, and second theirs something about her that sets her aside from from the crap of Hilary Duff, Lindsay Lohan, Avril Lavine, and the Devil Himself Ashely Simpson. Lalaine is a way better singer than any of these, which isn't saying much but better than them non the less. Her voice is actually really mature and sounds really good, trust me guys listen to her again with intrest and not with the "oh another pop/rock musician" mind set. I also feel that she is a better actress than all of them as well. But that's besides the point. She shows a lot of flair and has a good presence in front of the MIC. It really seems like she absolutly wants this and I have full confidence that she will make it someday. She is also very beutiful, but that's besides the point also. So again, give her a chance and keep your minds and ears open, she is a lot more talented than most think.

A Kid's Review
This review is from: I'm Not Your Girl (Audio CD)
When I first saw Lalaine, I thought "Oh my god, do we really need another teen like Hilary the Fish, Ashlee the Lipsyncher, or Lindsay the cracked one?" Well, I went to Lalaine.net, and I watched "I'm not your girl" the music video, and I'm really impressed. She can sing, strong vocals, great song, good lyrics, nice. Serously people, give Ms. Lalaine her chops!

PS- She is also a good actress

1.0 out of 5 stars Lalaine...yet another poser, September 11, 2005
This review is from: I'm Not Your Girl (Audio CD)
Lalaine can hardly sing. Her songs seem to show that she really wants to sing hard rock songs...but it's obvious that she can't.

1.0 out of 5 stars Skye Sweetnam ripoff!!, September 13, 2005
By
This review is from: I'm Not Your Girl (Audio CD)
Interesting powerpop, but tired arrangements and weak lyrics. Normally I would let this go, but this seems a direct ripoff of Skye Sweetnam!! Check out "Sounds from the Basement" from Skye Sweetnam. The same powerpop high energy rock and roll sound with similar arrangements but more original, the same very distintive enunciated vocals, and much more intelligent lyrics!! Do yourself and Skye a favor and buy Skye instead!!
