This is a really great album, one of Al Green's all-time classics. A collection of fantastic love songs with a great groove and amazing singing. Perfect for for romanticizing, listening, dancing... you name it.

I was hesitant to buy the recording after reading the previous review about the sound, but I decided to take the risk. I'm not going to say the sound is perfect, but it is definitely OK for me. Perhaps the sound of the LP version was better, but I never had this record on vinyl. To me, it just sounds like a great Al Green album with a funky early 1970s stereo mix -- the kind where some of the instruments are on one channel only, and others on the other channel, with only the most important things audible on both tracks.

This is a great bargain at the special $2.99 price on the MP3 Deal of the Day on Valentine's Day 2010. At the special price you can't go wrong. Once the price goes up again, it's still a great album.

I don't know....I have always held out on buying any Al Green releases due to sound issues. I'm Still In Love With You is my favorite record of Al's and truly deserves a "treatment". The vocals have a tinny/scratchy sound to them and it drives me insane. Please someone...give Al the proper release he deserves. One of the truly great southern soul singers of all time still waiting for a proper digital era release. I'm waiting.
