How can anyone not love this song? It's so cheerful and upbeat, it always lifts my spirits. I love Elton John, both as a singer, and for having the courage to be himself without apology long before it was fashonable to do so. So when he sings, "I'm still standing better than I ever did" I imagine a little "SO THERE!" implied in that, which makes me smile on the days when I need a little, "SO THERE!" in my life.
