On March 26, 2009 my son was killed in a car accident. A few well wishers gave us books and pamphlets on grief and coping with death. However, it was through synchronicity that I came across Carole Obley's book, and after reading it, for the first time since Joe's death, I did not feel hopeless. I found comfort in the stories Carole shared about connecting with loved ones on the other side for her clients and was encouraged by the peace that contact brought. I was awestruck by the individuality of the contacted spirits and the clarity and uniqueness of the information these spirits conveyed. I wanted to contact my son, so I made an appointment for a phone session with Carole. It was an amazing experience - to be able to hear from Joe again was absolutely wonderful. Carole is clearly a gifted medium, but I think her true strength comes from the humility with which she shares her gift, helping those of us suffering through grief resolve unanswered questions and come to realize death is not an end.

I have read many books on mediumship, and this one is unique in that its focus is on healing grief. Inspirational and reassuring, it is clear Carole wrote this book for the reader.
The book is beautifully written and flows well. It well organized- with a section explaining the process of mediumship and the continuity of the spirit, a section with excerpts from readings (organized into chapters based on the loss of a parent, loss of a spouse or partner, etc.) and most uniquely, a section on the process of grief and how to get through it.
This is an important book. I highly recommend it for anyone struggling with the loss of a loved one, or even for anyone struggling with the concept of their own mortality.

I was moved by this beautifully written book. Carole allows her sensitivity and grace to shine through as she shares insights into the continuity of life that truly does exist after our physical life has ended. This book will be very beneficial to those who are grieving the loss of loved ones and can help those to heal by feeling that the connectedness to every living thing goes on forever. Carole is a gifted healer and medium and many will benefit from her work.

I had recently lost my mother in the midst of going through
transitions in my own spiritual journey.
I was searching for answers as to why my mothers passing was so difficult
and how I could possibly communicate with her. I had hopes and desires of comforting myself and other loved ones.
At the time,there were so many books available that all the information seemed overwhelming.
The title "Im Still with You" had appealed to me. So, I took a chance.
I am now extremely happy with my choice. Carole Obley, relates simple, true stories of after life communications that have brought comfort and solace to grieving families.
These stories are direct and honest glimpses into the lives of different people who have lost a loved one and who through Carole, find out that they are still with them,still sharing special moments, occasions and perceptions beyond the veil of death.
Carole gives comforting information, without embellishment, to those who
are in emotional need and to those who just want to understand the how's and why's of bridging the gap between life and death. "Im Still With You", brings a hope to everyone that opens it's cover,that our loved ones do survive death and that we can communicate with them through a medium or on our own.

I am still enjoying this very comforting book. It reinforces the concept that life is only changed and not ended by death. My faith helped me to come to this conclusion early in my grief journey but this book shares many stories of spirit communication and continued to calm my sorrow. We lost a 16 year old son to suicide four and a half years ago. So I am always looking for a new and comforting story. I found it in this one.

In old films and books, psychic "mediums" sit in darkened rooms with groups circled around a table and conduct mysterious seances, channeling disembodied voices. As anyone who has seen the many recent films and television programs about the subject knows, the new group of mediums do their work in a very different way. They intuitively read messages from the other side in a conscious and expressive way, giving help and guidance in a way that seems very natural. Their work is extremely impressive in its accuracy and power, and no sceptic has been able to discount or rationally explain what they do, no matter how hard they have tried.

A personal reading with a medium such as Carole Obley can be a very powerful and uplifting experience. Her book is a personal account of the work she has done in this field, complete with a detailed and interesting description of how the process works and quite a few stories of how clients she has read for have used the process to help change and transform their lives. It is easy to read and a very good introduction to the subject. The ultimate value of both the book and the work is that things such as these can help open our eyes to an ordinarily unseen, but higher and enduring reality that is beyond death, and the higher truth that we are all connected by a Oneness that is greater than anything that can pass away in time.

This book helps to free you from the fear of death and dying. This is a must read for anyone grieving, or with a fear of dying. I read this after having a session with Carole. It is easy to read, with case studies, and helpful ways to help yourself. I went to a session with a friend that had lost her daughter, and I thought I was going strictly to help her. The session was amazing, she was helped and is healing for the first time since her child crossed. I, too, received healing messages from family in the spirit world, and my angels. I feel truly blessed.
I recommend having a session with Carole too...you will be happy you did. This book is true to all that Carole is and does everyday. She is a beautiful lady, peaceful, caring and filled with love. Her energy is palpable. I am purchasing copies to give to my friends and family for all should receive this beautiful energy, and enjoy the freedom that comes here now.

I lost my sister almost 5 years ago and have heard more than once that the feeling of loss gets easier. I don't agree. It never truly gets easier and there are days where the even the word "sister" brings me to tears. After my sister's death, I too questioned my beliefs about everything, spiritual and otherwise. I have read multiple books on the topic of loss, grief and afterlife and this one has absolutely been my favorite. Carole not only shares transcripts of many of her sessions but she also gives a firsthand account of how her gift developed. She shares her own personal struggles and discusses her journey in the different stages of grief. She truly connected with me in that she doesn't sugar coat anything and allows the reader to see inside another's thoughts. Her words and shared experiences have helped me to sort through many of my own thoughts and ideas about what happens when we die. I still have feelings of sadness and loss but this book gave me answers to many of the questions that I have pondered on a daily basis since my sister's death. I highly recommend Carole's book "I'm Still With You" to anyone who has experienced a loss or even for those that may question the afterlife and whether or not loved ones are still a part of our lives long after their passing. Thank you Carole for sharing your words and experiences to help and to heal the sadness of others. You truly have a gift.

I read books by several authors when my Dad passed away four years ago but when my son passed four months ago I was looking for something that would confirm that he is still with me. I found that confirmation in Carole's book. The stories in the book that detail readings with other sitters struck a chord and Carole's explanation of the spirit world answers many questions. This led to a phone reading with Carole that was amazing. My Dad and son (and others) came through and the details that she provided were absolutely from them. These were not generic observations that could apply to most anyone and there is no way that Carole could have guessed what came through. My sister also had a reading where my Dad and son came through with messages for me. The hope and peace that I have as a result of Carole's ability is priceless. I highly recommend reading Carole's book and contacting Carole for a reading if you wish to connect with a loved one. Carole is easy to talk to and she warmly shares her gift with those of us in grief.

I had my own personal agenda for reading this book following the loss of my fifteen year-old son almost three years ago, which lead me to question my own beliefs. I was 95% sure that there is life after physical death and after reading Obley's "I'm Still with You", she confirmed my belief 110%. Obley shared transcripts from actual sitter/client sessions and interviews that gives reassurance that our loved ones are still with us. Obley's ability to speak with spirits doesn't come off that she is bragging when she is spot-on accurate, but warmly gives reassurance from loved ones to loved ones proof that they are still here in spirit. She has definitely shed more light on the phenomenon of mediumship and its true value in healing grief. Obley shares her personal journey, advice, knowledge, and that we, too, can experience spirit visits without assistance from a medium.
