I just finished reading this book and thought it was really cute! This would make a great gift for a child who is going off to school for the first time, or riding the bus for the first time! A neat idea for a back-to-school gift!

I bought this book for my son when he was 3. He is almost 5 and STILL LOVES this book! The story and pictures are just too cute!!

I first purchased this book when teaching an introductory unit on community helpers; the students were learning about bus drivers. This book has become such a favorite that I can't bring myself to remove it from the reading area! We are finished learning about bus drivers, but the students are certainly not finished with this book! The kids pull it off the shelf EVERY day and beg for it to be read aloud. The truth is, I secretly love when they ask for it because it gives me an excuse to read it again! I teach toddlers with developmental delays and it is a great read aloud. The children enjoy the sing-songy nature and scream and laugh when I give them a chance to fill in missing words ("morning, evening, I'm your ___ (bus!!)". It's difficult to find a book that keeps my kids attending, but this one does the job! It's a must-have for children under the age of 6 (and I suspect you grown-ups will enjoy it as much as I do). Very cute and highly recommended!
