Three very talented author in one book,
This review is from: I'm Your Santa (Paperback)
The Christmas Present by Lori FosterBeth's life is pure chaos. She found out that her fiancée is cheating on her, she slept with his best friend to get even, but what she did not count on was that Levi has loved her for a long time and that he awoke feelings in her that she never thought possible. She flees to her family, but Levi is on his way to persuade her that she should marry him. Will he be able to persuade her and what will her very protective family say to him? Ms. Foster wrote with this story another keeper. Wonderful characters with whom you will immediately fall in love with. The Christmas Present is a really gift to her readers. Definitely not a tale that you want to miss. The Christmas Present is the sequel to Ms Forster previous books TOO MUCH TEMPATION and NEVER TOO MUCH, which are the books of Beth's stepbrothers. Nevertheless, you can read the story as a stand-alone. It's A Wonderful Life by Karen Kelley The actor Jeremy Hunter is a playboy par excellence whose next role is something he knows nothing about, being a priest. His agent persuades him to try to live as a priest for a while. That's when he meets Bailey during his short stay in Two Creeks, Texas. He wishes that he didn't have to tell her lies to keep his real identity a secret. Will they have a future once she learns the truth? Ms. Kelley delivers with It's A Wonderful Life a wonderful story with her typical sense of humor. It's fun to see how Jeremy tries to stay in his role of a priest, because that is really not easy for him. And to make it even more interesting are his doubts that he would ever have a chance with Bailey because he thinks that she is a proper small town fourth grade school teacher and would never be interested in the real Jeremy. What he doesn't know is that Bailey worries about the same things just the other way around. Another fun factor are the secondary characters, who add a lot of spice and fun to the story. It's A Wonderful Life is the sequel of SOUTHERN COMFORT (Bailey's brother Wade's story) and you will meet Cody from HELL ON WHEELS again. Home For Christmas by Dianne Castell LuLu and Sebastian met one fateful night when both of them were down. They found consolation in each other, and as the result, LuLu is pregnant. To complicate the situation even more, Sebastian will be deployed overseas very soon and they have a lot of things to sort through before they can have a happy end. Ms. Castell takes her readers back to Fallon's Landing. Her Christmas gift to her readers is an unusual set of characters that will make you smile. You will meet characters again from her O'Fallon series. This anthology is a really fantastic book with three wonderful Christmas stories! Courtesy of Loveromances and More

Sexy Fun Read,
By
This review is from: I'm Your Santa (Paperback)
This is an anthology with Lori Foster, Karen Kelley and Dianne Castell and is a wonderful sexy read. All three authors have done a great job of working the true Christmas spirit into their stories. The Christmas Present by Lori Foster brings us Beth Munroe who has broken up with her fiancé that she caught cheating. How better than to get revenge but for to cheat with his best friend, Levi Materson? Only the whole plan has her seriously shaken and running home to Gillespie, Kentucky for the holiday season and to sort through her mixed emotions. Levi follows her because he wants Beth to acknowledge what they have. The sizzle between the two is enough to melt the snow, and the trip to resolving their problems is fun, hot read. It's A Wonderful Life by Karen Kelley returns us to Two Creeks, Texas. Bailey Tanner is a 4th grade teacher who would like some spice and excitement in her life. Enter a sexy, bad boy person in the form of Trey Jones on his Harley. Now things are looking up until Bailey finds that he is a travelling preacher and off limits, but when he gets hurt, she takes him home with her. The heat that these two give off is enough to burn the pages, but there is a lot of guilt and secrets between them that must be worked through. Trey is not really who he says but actually Jeremy Hunter, an actor, playboy out getting into character for his upcoming role. The conflicting, roller coaster ride that this story takes the reader on is an enjoyable one. There are times when you need ice to cool you off, feel like slapping the hero, and sympathize with Bailey, but with Christmas just around the corner is there magic in the air? Home For Christmas by Dianne Castell tells the story of LuLu Cahill who has come home to O'Fallan's Landing because of having no where else to go when her ex-boyfriend runs off leaving her pregnant, broke and in debt. She meets Sebastian Moore, who has just been dumped at the altar in the most unlikely place. To say that these two set off enough sparks to light up the whole area and melt the snow would be an understatement. The reader is then lead on a hot, wild, funny read as these two try to fight their feelings for each other and play matchmakers for others. Does it work? Will they see the error of their ways? This is a fun sexy read by three talented authors that can pull you in from the first page and hold your interest to the very end. Each has spot appearances by family and friends that the reader has met in previous stories, but all stand alone. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and would recommend that you pick it up. You will get a fun, sexy and hot read, and who could go wrong with that.

A heartwarming Christmas anthology contains three stellar romances in I'm Your Santa.Lori Foster brings back fan favorites in The Christmas Present. Beth Monroe is running back home. Her wild weekend with friend Levi Masterson has her shaken. She thought that getting back at her cheating fiancé with Levi would even the score but it caused her to rethink her true feelings for Levi. Going home to face her family of dad Kent and step mom Brooke, plus Noah and Grace and Ben and Sierra has here feeling anything but more confused. He ends up in a Two Creeks, Texas. A freak injury to his ankle has him staying in town longer then he planned. Happy Holiday Read,
This review is from: I'm Your Santa (Paperback)
Three sexy and sizzling stories from three of my favorite authors, I'M YOUR SANTA is a fun and light-hearted read that will get you in the holiday spirit.Lori Foster's THE CHRISTMAS PRESENT will remind you of the importance of family. Levi and Beth make an adorable couple and from previous books, Noah, Grace, Ben, Sierra, Kent and Brooke also make appearances. IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE by Karen Kelley reunites us with Fallon and Wade as Wade's younger sister, Bailey finds temptation from actor Jeremy who is in incognito while researching the part of a traveling preacher. Lots of meddling at O'Fallon's Landing and appearances from characters from previous books make for a funny and heart-touching read in Diane Castell's HOME FOR CHRISTMAS. Sebastian "Handsome" and LuLu find happiness together whether they want to or not. Very highly recommended!

Some familar faces make this Holiday collection fun.,

This review is from: I'm Your Santa (Paperback)
An early Christmas Present these fun and sexy anthologies go home for the holidays and you will find that the family has some very familiar faces as past pairs from the authors' previous stories play supporting roles.Lori Foster's story was my favorite of the bunch, but then I am a sucker for the guy that has always been a friend but secretly has wanted more. When Beth decides to have revenge sex with Levi to get even with her cheating ex, Levi sees this as an opportunity to show Beth just what he has always felt for her. I just loved Levi, he had it all. The overwhelming sensuality was a plus, but what won me was the way that he had really paid attention to what really mattered to Beth. You will recognize all of Beth's family: Kent and Brooke, Noah and Grace, Brent and Sierra from Foster's Too Much Temptation and Never Too Much. Karen Kelley's stories always have a great hook but the actual stories tend to be 4 star and that's true here as well. I loved her lustful heroine Bailey trying to be a good girl and not seduce "preacher" Trey who is really actor Jeremy getting in character for a juicy role. I didn't really see what would make Jeremy give up his womanizing ways, so this was a near miss for me, but it was fun seeing him getting hogtied and brought back to face the music by Cody and Fallon from Southern Comfortand Hell On Wheels. Castell's story was my least favorite of the bunch, but she is a new to me author and since I haven't read her O'Fallon stories I probably missed out on most of the fun that knowing the old characters would have brought to the story. The actual romance was just a bit too contrived and I could see attraction but not love between "Handsome" and Lu-Lu, so this one didn't work for me.

I loved Karen Kelley's Contribution!,

This review is from: I'm Your Santa (Paperback)
Does it get any better? Christmas magic . . . sensual fantasies . . . three fun authors . . . an anthology! Yum!Book 1 - Lori Foster: "The Christmas Present." - Rating: 3 Stars Forever . . . Levi Masterson loved Beth Monroe! Yet he is too much of a friend and gentleman to do anything about it! But when Beth catches her fiancé with another woman, Levi has his golden opportunity . . . finally! *** Reviewer's Comments - Usually Lori Foster is a lot of fun and although, THE CHRISTMAS PRESENT is a pleasant read - I expected so much more! There seemed to be too much running back and forth between the characters, "You love me!" "No, I don't!" "Yes, you do!" And, to make matters worse, I felt as if I was caught up in a storm, hastily blown toward the story's conclusion. Reading Status: It was OK. Book 2 - Karen Kelley: "It's a Wonderful Life." - Rating: 5 Stars What is wrong with her? Bailey Tanner is definitely out of God's good grace now! She is lusting after a preacher for heaven's sake! It was her seductive wink that sparked his sprained ankle, and it was her guesthouse that laid the ground work, but it was her coquetry that brought the man straight to his knees! Jeremy Hunter, Hollywood playboy, is researching an upcoming 'man of the cloth' role . . . incognito. Now the actor, aka Trey Jones, feels like a panic-stricken cad! *** Reviewer's Comments - Oh what fun! For a short story, Karen Kelley writes a jewel. Ms. Kelley is one of those rare authors who can combine comedy and sensuality and not diminish the impact of her romance. IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE is as cute as a button and as hot as a firecracker. Reading Status: Marvelous. Book 3 - Dianne Castell: "Home for Christmas." - Rating: 2 Stars She would never look at another gazebo again without thinking of him. The guy had been incredible and they had SHARED astonishing sex! Yet it was essential that they separate. Neither needed another man-woman relationship. Mr. Incredible had been dumped at the altar and Miss 'pregnant' Congeniality had simply been dumped - it seemed the jerk wasn't the daddy type! So what kept positioning Sebastian Moore and LuLu Cahill together? Physics? Over-enthused relatives? All of the above! *** Reviewer's Comments - If Lori Foster's story made me feel caught up in a storm, then Dianne Castell's HOME FOR CHRISTMAS snarled me in a tornado! Bombarded with far-reaching dialogue and an outrageous storyline, HOME FOR CHRISTMAS was just too much. Reading Status: Mediocre. As a whole it's always difficult to rate an anthology . . . some stories are winners, while others are not! This can be said of I'M YOUR SANTA; it's unfortunate that all the stories weren't of the same caliber. MaryGrace Meloche.
