A fantastic first single to Jason Mraz's latest album, We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things. It's a nice balance between a nice beach summer song and the creative tunes we're heard from Mraz on his past two albums. I agree with one of the other reviewers that this song is a bit Jimmy Buffet-ish, but I think this is more indicative of Mraz tipping his hat to Buffet rather than being a copy-cat of Buffet's work. Mraz certainly has his own creative identity, and this new album as a whole reflects his evolution as a singer-songwriter.

The lyric in the song where the it says "and my breath fogged up the glass so I drew a new face and I laughed" it just makes me feel better and reminds me not to take life so serious. I love love the tune.

Jason Mraz's "I'm Yours" is an excellent song that shows off his talent! Jason's voice is smooth and easy on the ear for this beautiful mellow pop song about a guy falling for a woman even though he tried not to get involved with her. Jason sends the message about the importance of love, too. The melody complements the lyrics and it all holds its own very well. In particular, the guitars and percussion are used well--and that chorus sounds great although Jason's so gifted that he could have easily pulled this off all by himself.

By now I assume that Jason's fans already have this song; so I highly recommend this for anyone who wants the perfect introduction to Jason's artistry and people who also enjoy comparatively mellow pop music. If you like this tune, check out the Jason Mraz album it's on entitled "We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things."

Jason Mraz is a "Paul" in a sea of "Ringos". I've been a fan of his since his first album nearly a decade ago. For some reason this review is suggesting that I'm only reviewing his record breaking single "I'm Yours". Interesting for a couple reasons, but most notably for the fact that I bought it on Apple's iTunes, not on Amazon. Secondly, I never bought the single, but rather the album this is on, "We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things (Bonus Track Version)". If you haven't seen this man perform live, you haven't lived ; ) I can't recommend his live DVD (or CD, if you so choose) "A Beautiful Mess - Live On Earth" highly enough, though I'd encourage you to go for the DVD, as he and his band must be experienced in total.

The album from which I'm Yours comes from was released in 2008 when I was in the hospital for 4-1/2 months. I haven't watched Network or Cable TV for nearly 15 years now, so this album pretty much got me through my time in hell! The most amazing part of this is that "I'm Yours" broke the record for being on the charts the longest in history over 1-1/2 years ago, and it's still in the top 100 (closer to the top 50) as I am writing this! Same goes for the Album. HE'S THAT GOOD!

This is the first of 2 songs performed live on Saturday Night Live television recently. It launches into the rhythm and rhyme with an infectious, almost island-style LOVE song. Upbeat and sweet. With scat, too. Good clean fun and all good.

The other song performed on SNL (and also on this album) is Lucky, which featured a wonderful duet with Jason Mraz and Colbie Caillat, a sweet, melodious song which can bring goosebumps as the two singers trade lines of love in sweet harmony, while a rhythmic, "beachy" guitar thing going on offers punchy counterpoint to the vocals -- reminiscent of Pink Floyd's "San Tropez". I bought both of these tunes and was really pleased to hear that the album performance was as amazing and fresh as the live performance. Or vice versa.

This guys probably one of my favorite singers. His music, style and unique voice, takes this whole "I'm listening to music" thing to a different meaning Why? He is just talented, the lyrics as a great picture and music as the passionate background. Rarely we see singers like him, that offer their very best in each song. by far 5 stars isnt enough, just saying.

Love this song, which is why I purchased it, however, I don't like the fact that the 'cloud' player doesn't allow me to play it whenever I would like to. Would prefer it actually be downloaded into my Galaxy onto/into my own music player, but it doesn't allow that & for a purchase it should! Otherwise would be 5 stars.
