"I'm On Fire" is the shortest song on Born In The U.S.A. clocking in at 2:34 but it packs an emotional punch. Driven along by a moody synthesizer, the sound captures the sexual tension in song perfectly. You can almost feel the sweat that has soaked the singer's sheets dripping from the dark synth passages.

This was a classic Springsteen that I had forgotten about, so much so that I couldn't name it when I read the description of it in the novel...but I happened to be at a Starbuck's and "Wicked Game" by Chris Issak was playing which reminded me of the reference to that song in the book, followed by this song...and I realized this was the Springsteen reference she had made. I forgot how much I loved this very short song. A classic that is still delightful today!

This is one of my favorite songs of all time. Bruce Springsteen hits a home run with this song because it got me on fire. I love the beat and melody in this song. Bruce is an icon of rock and his music will live on forever and reign true till the best of time.

No one can beat Springsteen for the style of music he offers. This song brings back a lot of memories - I was about 19 when the album was released - 'nuff said lol.

I bought this song as it is a part of the Cristian Grey books. It makes the reading that much better to relate the songs that they are talking about in the book.
