Would Tom Cruise be the brilliant actor he is without having Imagined he was a superhero? if Michael Jackson had not imagined he was a Mattell kiddies toy that they could play with would plastic surgeons know as much about their product failures as they do today?

But more than all this Dr Hux presents the simple way to get rich without having to join Hillsong.

And if deep down you just want a great laugh this book is for you as a very clever writer sneaks up on the snakeoil doctors of our time and steals their costume and wears it better than they do!!

Refreshing and hilariously funny .. A parody and an expose to the world of self help gurus. Unlike your usual 'run of the mill" self help books , Imagenuity puts a hilarious yet insightful slant to self help and it's basic principles...

You must read it in order for it to reveal its "secret "!

This book made me laugh. It is well written and puts an amusing slant on self help. Let's face it - seeing the lighter side of life is the real way to help yourself! I would recommend this book to anyone who has the ability to laugh at themself!

Jonathan G Huxley is definitely some sort of guru and has hit the mark with this cutting indictment of the self help / success is everything shlock out there.
Great coffee table book - easily browsed, with a laugh on every page.
Also a great gift idea for that cynical uncle or bright young thing just starting in the big bad world of corporate work.
Work training courses will never be the same...

In short terms, this book sets out that the way to achieve wealth is to play to the greed of others - greed is a common and base motivation, and the way that you can get rich is to convince others that you have the "secret" that will get them rich. That is to say, the whole "self-help" industry is little more than a ponzi scheme.

While a parody, as with all good humour, there is underlying and fundamental truth - happiness, in whatever form, is a matter of individual satisfaction with personal circumstances.

Funny and well written, this book is worth reading.

Imagenuity was a BIG snore from start to finish. It was supposed to be a spoof on the self-help books on the market. I really was upset to spend my hard earned money on something that taught me nothing.

Congratulations Dr Huxley.
You have taught me (in the funniest possible way!) to believe in my Sellf, improve my Sellf, and to continually peruse my inner life through the kaleidoscopic lens of the Believe-O-Sphere (TM, but of course).

Enter the Secret world of the Believe-O-Sphere and say hello to Sellfelp, Sellfenlightenment, Sellfbelief and Sellfawareness, goodbye Sellfdoubt and Sellfloathing.

This is a little gem of a book - a parody of the world of self help books, but nonetheless a funny exploration of the things that make us truly happy. Dr Huxley - you the man!!!

I really enjoyed reading this book. It was very entertaining and has taught me so many things that will change my life for the better. All the best and I will definitely buy any other books you write. You are very inspirational. Any other readers out there looking for an interesting read, try this one !

Great read, witty and funny from beginning to end. Dr Huxley has picked the eyes out of the self help genre and tapped into my Believe-O-Sphere (TM) with this hilarious book. What Huxley achieves with this parody is to force any self respecting self help author to take a step into the house of mirrors and have a long hard look at themselves - well done Huxley you are the man!

How many of us have picked up a self-help book, had a flick through, and come away not really sure what we have learned, or how to apply what we learned? Imagenuity sorts all this out in a hilarious easy read, while taking the hype of self-help books to a totally new level. What a spoof. Definitely worth a read.
