This review is from: Images & Memories: Georgia Tech, 1885 1985 (Hardcover)
If you love the North Avenue Trade School, this is pictorial trip through it's illustrious history.A long term beneficiary of being the only science and engineering school in the Deep South, the Georgia Institute of Technology has survived and thrived in a politically hostile geographic region. Continually underfunded and ignored by much of the state, it's graduates are the sole reason the state of Georgia isn't in dire straits similar to other realms of the old Confederacy. This book won't tell you much of that story, but it will let those who know feel a bit closer to the images and memories that weave the fabric that gives us the hell of an engineer. |
