Product Description
The CMUcam developed at Carnegie Mellon University provides real time object tracking vision system that is easy to interface to microcontrollers and personal computers. The CMUcam performs onboard real time image processing for object and color recognition. It uses a SX28 microcontroller interfaced to an Omnivision OV6620 CMOS camera chip. The SX28 microcontroller does much of the image processing. Communication with the camera is done via a standard RS-232 or TTL serial port.
