Great toy, but cover corners!,

My husband's parents recently bought this for our 11mo. & 23mo. old daughters. They love this toy! There are so many activities that it keeps them entertained for a long time. We also bought magnetic letters to go on the magnetic side of the box. I like that there is space inside to either flip the top maze into or store some toys to keep your livingroom more organized. I suggest covering the corners though with some sort of foam. My youngest did get a little knot on her head from it. Overall, I hate the price but love the toy!

I would have given this toy 5 stars but....,

We got this toy for our 16 month old daughter for Chanukah. She loves it and plays with it non-stop when we are home. However she fell the other day and cut her eyebrow on the corners. They should be rounded, which they are not. We will put something on the corners so that she will not get hurt again. Other than that point this product is great and teaches them many different things.

What a breath of fresh air compared to over stimulating, musical toys. This toy encourages cognitive thinking as well as improves coordination. My son is 16 months old and absolutely loves playing with all of the activities. It is a must for children :)

We got this for our 12 month old son and while there are some things that are a bit annoying, such as the fact that you can take the roller coaster top off and my son has pinched his fingers in it. However, I think it's a bit of a learning process and you can also easily leave the top off and play with that part on the floor. He likes to move that around as well as the entire cube. So far, I really like this product and so does my son.

i agree with the earlier comnment about the top piece not being bolted down, but i dont't think it could cause death or serious injury. my daughter is 18mo and she walks with the top piece and uses it for a single toy and after finishing she returns it to the unit so i think that's a plus. she is unable to carry or push the entire unit. she loves it and i enjoy seeing her have fun with it

Multi Activities...Hours of fun!,

My 18 month old loves this toy...Made to last. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that The xylophone, does not make enough sound to be of any benefit. You can hardly get a tune out of it, but it is good for banging which my sons loves to take the stick and pound on it. I just feel they could have put something else like a shape sorter, chalk board etc. on that panel instead of the xylophone which in my opion a waste of space. corners need to be rounded out could be a hazard...so far we have been lucky...no accidents! YET! Comes with 4or 5 magnets which have been hidden somewhere in the house...hard to hang on to but I love the magnetic side of the cube. The bead thing on top is ok but it could use some more beads and they have animals on the bottom of that which can be moved around but they seem to get in the way. As for the benefits this toy is made to last and has more positives than bad. It cost me $50 at toysRus which is pricey. We store lots of stuff inside the cube and my son loves to put his Imaginarium blocks in it among all the little stuff that ends up on his floor.

Although this toy is still a favorite for my 16month old son, I had to remove the magnets from his reach. I found him with the circle magnet stuck in his mouth. I scared me to death, but I quickly removed it. If you buy this, please remove the magenets before you let your child play with it!!
