If there is a soul inside electronic music, Ma Ja Le has it. This album is sombre, introspective music that drifts along in the upper stratosphere.This music is the breath inside a whisper that leaves you wanting more.

I couldn't give it 5 stars because it isn't a masterpiece like some of the giants: Stalker by Robert Rich or Steve Roach's Inner Space, but its good stuff nonetheless. Lots of dark tribal rhythms and also some smooth ambient syth stuff without the beats. Definitely worth adding to your collection. Pretty cool cover art also.

I have seen these guys live and the CD is even better. Vir Unis fans will notice his contribution right away. This even has nice guitar treatments similar to David Pearce. It's a little dark - but nicely so. Each piece is different and creative. I've replaced my scratched original cd and I'd do it again.
