I bought this castle for my 4 year old daughter to play with at SCA events. She and her friends played with it for hours! It was a big hit. Not only did they use the figures that came with it, but my daughter's plastic horses and her friends little soldier set. Decent construction, easy to assemble, easy to play with.

We purchased this wooden castle for our 3 year old son. He loves it. It is light enough to be portable, yet sturdy enough for playtime. He especially likes the drawbridge which is fun and easy to operate.

This is a great product for kids. It is sturdy and durable, unlike the plastic ones you find in stores that fall apart and the peices end up missing because they don't stay together and everyone in the house is wondering later, "what does this go to?" and noonne knows. The wooden castle was the hit of my son's 3rd birthday. He and his older GIRL cousins played with it more than any other toy he recieved. I am glad we got the wooden caslte that will last throughout his child hood and also my 2nd son's child hood.
