What a Find, January 8, 2003

Followed up a purchase of Izit's "The Whole Affair" by purchasing "Imaginary Man". I found this CD to possess the same hipness and attention to detail as the Whole Affair. I'm really shocked that these folks didn't acheive wider recognition. Their music is refreshing, hip and at the same time 'kickin". Songs like "Mother of Mine", "Just a Matter of Time" and "Elijah's Blue" more than make this CD above average. This Harmony, and Izit's cover of the old Roberta Flack "Feel like makin Love to You", seperate this CD fromso many other in my collection...I've been spinning this Cd for several yearss now and it still sounds sooo freesh!!
