First; this is a game for adults because many of the questions relate to cultural realities from the 20th century. So those who decided to let their children read the title of the game just chill because the game isn't meant for them.

Second; we first played this game at a coffeehouse across from our daughter's college campus. None of us knew the rules and we just started playing. We had such a great time that we went and purchased the game (TV version)! Tonight we opened the box and once again were laughing with friends. This game does have a simplicity that lets everyone participate even if they aren't 'experts' in a topic unlike some adult games that just shut off some players who are overwhelmed by a topic. This is about having fun ... not about scoring on an IQ test.

My only critique is that the creators have not provided the FACT to those questions whose correct answer is CRAP. I would have liked to know what the right answers were but this is a minor detail because I made plenty of guesses tonight when I didn't have any idea what the answer was and I had FUN!

So, if you like to get friends together for a fun night ... add this to your collection of party games. I know I am hoping that there will be other editions in addition to the original and the TV FACT or CRAP that we just bought.

If you are looking for a game to play with a group of friends, then this is the game for you! The bigger the group the better! I have to admit that there were a number of facts that I did not know but I was also impressed with some of the things I remembered from school. Purchase this game if you are looking for a great educational game!

This game allows players to think about the answers to gain the most chips to win the game. Its fun to see who answer first for the most chips to wager. Its an all around Fun game. There's only one draw back, theres so many chips it takes a long time to play the game. We have a way to get around that though, we just play with less chips.

This is an easy, fun, and conversation promoting game for adults. Actually, teens can play because there isn't any topic that is not appropriate. What we all like about the game is that there isn't a lot of work involved and people can converse throughout. It also generates a lot of laughs - look at the name of it!

Not very much fun at all; bought it specifically for a dinner party I had for several couples and was rather embarrassed at how bad it was. It would be greatly improved if it had the correct answers for those questions that turn out to be crap, very anticlimactic.

I even wrote the Imagination Co. to let them know what a let down the game was but never got a reply, that's why I decided to write this review.

Don't waste your money, buy Pictionary by Haspro instead!

I was reading some reviews, and these people actually expect complex game play from a game called Fact or Crap. Considering how highly they rate their own intelligence, and how 'experienced' they are at playing games, you would think they could take the games title and extrapolate how it's going to go.

Honestly, it is a blast to play, especially if you don't mind being completely wrong. We play board games all the time, and this one is so funny!

Fact or Crap provided a lot of entertainment and enjoyment for myself and my family while we were waiting out Hurricane Irene. It gave us many laughs and helped the time go by more quickly. The game has many intriguing questions. While some of them were very easy to answer, others did require a little more brain power. The rules and instructions were fairly straightforward to understand. Even the youngest members of the family found this to be fun, as it enabled some playful competition. Overall, this is not a bad game for most people to play. Jim Fargiano, author of: The Spoken Words of Spirit: Lessons From The Other Side

This is the worst board I have ever played in my life. You have to answer either fact or crap, which means you'll always have a 50% shot regardless of whether or not you know the answer!
This makes the game far less exciting for both the people who know the answer and those who don't because if you know the answer, someone else might get points too on sheer dumb luck. You're not getting uniquely rewarded for your knowledge.
If you don't know the answer, you still might get points because you have a 50/50 true false chance... which is boring for you because you're not using any kind of knowledge or effort in the game!

As another reviewer mentioned... when a statement is crap or fact, the cards don't elaborate on the subject any further. That doesn't seem very educational to me.

My sister and I are avid board game players. When we played this game, I was so frustrated and disappointed in it that we trekked down to a 24hr Wal-Mart (in the middle of the night in our pajamas!) just to buy a better game to play!

Bottom line... don't buy this game if you like dynamic, interesting, or entertaining game play.
