Perfect for the artist
We bought this for our 6 year old daughter who sees life through the eyes of creativity. Though we haven't had it long it appears to be terrific for those budding artists and teaches the basics of numerous techniques.

When ordering this game, or any 3rd party merchandise, double-check the price you'll pay, especially if you order from someone's wish list. Prices from 3rd party vendors vary all over the place and you may end up paying much more than you intended. My daughter actually wanted the a different art game for her DS. But, after reviewing other reviews and considering her age of 11, I thought this one was more appropriate for her. The other was geared toward ages 3-8.
She loves this game and plays it often and said she is glad I got this one instead. Great buy!

My daughter is 10 and loves to create!! This game has kept her quietly and happily occupied for weeks now. She says it is awesome as it isn't something that you ever "finish"! you can always start over and create something new each time :-)

My seven year-old daughter is enjoying this. It has some neat drawing features but only unlocks so much at a time. She wishes she could do more. It's fun but not exciting like other games. For the arts and crafts type of child it's a good choice.

A year ago, as Sara's Oma, I did not have a clue what a DS Nintendo was. I still do not know how it works but I do know that our Granddaughter loves to play games on it.
I felt the Artist game was a good choice. She has always been interested in art and art projects. I felt it was "educational" and not just another competitive game.

This game was actually really fun! It had a lot of useful tricks, and so many fun minigames, all to help grow your inner artist. Some of these tricks actually helped me while I was doing art in school and stuff. Though, I have to admit, I was a little short, and the tasks were a bit unrealistic, it was super educational, and really fun.

This has a great storyline, great length, makes me relaxed, and the game practically never ends! I was never good at art but i can do this. I love this game!
