I bought this DS game for my daughter who is 7 and in second grade. She all ready has a Barbie Fashion Show game and My Baby Girl, so I was reluctant to get this, but it is by far her favorite game. It is a great combination of both the above mentioned games and was easy enough for her to learn to play with zero help from me. You start with an infant and get to do all the "baby" things like feeding and cleaning. The activities change as baby grows, which occurs on a fairly quick and steady course. Every so often a friend calls with details on a fashion show. The shows have themes like-flashy summer wear or ethnic winter clothing. The outfits are selected and then the babies compete. Even when my daughter gets a lower score than the competion, she doesn't seem upset by this. It still seems like a win. This game was a winner for us.

i bought this game with my own money and was a great purchase. i read all my reviews for ds games on amazon. this was a very fun game overall. i have finished it already and am starting it over again.

right after i bought this game i was admitted to the hospital and babyz fashion kept me happy on hospital standards. it starts off by letting you create your own baby and naming it. your 2 friends miranda and laura call you and visit you often to chat about a fashion contest that you are signed up for. in order to style your babyz clothes, you have to fill up a certain amount of hearts throughout the day. to fill up a heart you have to play with and take care of your baby. then you can start to style your babyz clothes.

the themes for the contests are just variations of clothes for cold weather and warm weather, but are still fun to design. when you finish your design you go to the fashion show where you get judged on the babyz outfit. then you have to take a pic of your baby for your scrapbook.

after the first fashion contest laura visits you and she always brags about how good she is and that you should drop out of the contest. for younger girls they might get discouraged or get the wrong idea... also your pedeatrician (a child doctor) calls you with tips on how to take care of your baby which are pointless because you cant even put what you learn to good use and just becomes an annoyance after a while.

at the end of the story line you move on to nationals. eventually your helper mary, say comes to talk to you about your career. a movie producer has an oppourtunity for the best baby to be a model for his company. if you didnt get gold in every contest, you have to replay them over again to move on in the game which gets boring after a while too.

fun game overall but some downfalls. i would recommend this game to any girl who likes fashion designing and taking care of babyz:)!

Hello I'm an autistic adult gamer.

This is my review on Imagine: Babyz Fashion ds game.

This is an extremely cute ds game. I bought this ds game because I tried & really liked Imagine: Baby Club ds/Imagine: Babysitters ds. I do have Imagine: Babyz too but it's not my fave. Anyway's Imagine: Babyz Fashion ds you have your own baby which you get to name & pick the gender of, hair color, eye color, etc & every day you take care of the baby & the fashion director or your friend will send you a fashion sheet as to how to dress your baby for the fashion contest. You can also pick if you want a boy or girl baby in the ds game. Overall very fun & cute ds game. I didn't know this until after I bought the ds game though but it's one of the newer dsi games with dsi features. I haven't tried it on my ds lite yet but it work's really well on my blue dsi. The baby's are really cute in the ds game. Overall very fun ds game & recommending it to all my friends.

Oh I almost forgot you can use the camera mode on your dsi to take different pic's for your baby's new outfits to be unique.

I finished all of the rounds of the fashion show, and i get a comment from Mary Cochet. She says, in order for your baby to be in a movie, you have to replay all of the rounds again. I don't like that rude comment from Mary Cochet. My baby should be in the fashion no matter if she wins or not.

The game was purchased for a 7-year old granddaughter. She loves it. Beyond that I have never watched her play the game, so I can't really say much about what they do.
