Danger! Danger! Warning, Will Robinson,

Shame on the UBISoft for failing to describe ALL of the features of this game! And, for recommending it for ages as young as 5 years old. My 8-year old daughter LOVES this game. I thought "Great! She has another outlet for her creativity." Then, she invited me to watch the action as she completed tasks . . . The tasks ARE fun. I was enjoying watching until "Mark" started telling my daughter's character - "Emma" - that he was in love with her and wanted to be her boyfriend. "Emma" then had to decide whether to take on a boyfried at this time in her career, or stay focused. Next, a male "Director of Development" asked "Emma" if she was having "any problems" implying that she could confide in him and he would help. (I have to admit this creeped me out!) In my opinion, these scenarios/decisions are WAY TOO GROWN-UP for those under dating age! My daughter is very perceptive and I found myself having to explain office politics/pitfalls that she shouldn't have to think about for a long time.
Bottom line: The manufacturer's description and rating imply one type of game. The actual game is far more "mature". Parents, think carefully about whether these scenarios are appropriate for your child if they're not dating yet. Try to preview the game if you can.

Both me and my teenage daughter have been playing this game. It is a lot of fun. You work at a fashion company and they give you different jobs to do, such as designing a specific type of outfit, with certain makeup and hairstyles. My daughter has completed the game twice... I'm still working on my first go through.
Hope you enjoy it too. :)

This game puts adult situations in front of little girls. TERRIBLE!!! Our 9 year old daughter came to us and said she couldn't play the game any more because the two main characters were going to "live together"! Are you kidding me? WHY does that need to be in a game for kids? My daughter loves clothes and fashion, but even she knows you can have fun with design and not need to be in an implied sexual situation. Creepy and makes me wonder if pedophiles are writing these games. We will not buy any more games from imagine games.

Great Game But One Downside!!!,

I am thirteen and I absoloutley love fashion.I got this game for Christmas and I played it a lot. I beat the game three days after I got it, I loved it so much! Very addicting! Designing my very own fashion line was really cool and easy! There is so much to do from choosing a model to doing a fashion show. My favorite part had to be designing the clothes that really expressed my personality. But I wish that I could express my personality without getting married!Yes, in this game you get married to a handsome young fellow named Mark and you have no choice but to get married. This is the only flaw that has really shocked me the most. I know Ubisoft can be a little bit more conscious about what material is put in their games. I hope that in the future Ubisoft will realize that there are eight year old girls who play this game. I know I'm only thirteen but I know that marriage is no joke and that some of the things in the game are just a bit too mature for girls under ten. This is my opinion on the game and I hope that you read this and consider what I have said. Thanks!!!!!:)

Make an Imagine Photographer game!!,

This game is a really fun and exciting way to introduce us to the world of fashion design. The best parts of the game, in my opinion, are the photography parts! I am so interested in photography, and I think Ubisoft should create an "Imagine: Photographer" game, where you have your own portrait studio! That would be so fun and educational. I'd buy it "in a flash"! :D

I got this game for christmas along with four others and haven't been able to play the others because this one is so fun. There is a virtually an endless number of clothes creations (and outfits) from skirts and dresses to highheals and hats. You can apply makeup, dye and cut hair, accesorize and dress your model. Once shes ready, you can have her walk the catwalk or take pictures. You can either ask the boss for a client or you can design the clothes yourself. Super fun. I would recommend this game to anyone over the age of 10. Very girly game.

This game is about relationships as much as fashion! Imagine my horror when my 9 year old daughter told me her character might move in together with her boyfriend! I hope she thinks she lost the game because she likes the game so much (I have taken it from her for good!) - I don't want to break her heart! Shame on Ubisoft!

Promotes the wrong values,

We gave this to our 8-year-old daughter for Christmas. As I watched her design the clothes and did a few myself, I saw some lovely styles that had potential to be a pretty good creative outlet. But the game requires the designer to create some really skimpy outfits to be worn by the impossibly thin models as they slink down the runway. I reminded her that nobody should really wear anything like these in public.
This weekend our daughter read parts of the script to me: the male photographer and the female designer (our daughter's identity) were moving in together. That killed the game at our house. These are not values I want my child to embrace. This is not a harmless game. It tries to instill a casual attitude toward intimate relationships in young girls. I would like to find a suitable replacement for this creative outlet, but it won't be from this company.

Not for young girls,

My daughter loves fashion and I thought this would be a good game for her. I am glad I read the other negative reviews before purchasing this game. It is inappropriate for young girls. It has been deleted from her wishlist.
