I've played a few of the Imagine titles, and I would say this might be my favorite. You can customize your character by altering their hairstyle and color, as well as their outfit and makeup. The main goal of the game is to take care of clients by giving them the appropriate makeup style they ask for. The process of applying makeup is very fun, and allows for a decent amount of customization. When you aren't doing that you can go around the town and flirt with boys, and do mini-game part time jobs, and hear fashion "advice." The advice isn't the greatest, and occasionally the customer's requests can be difficult, it doesn't block you from continuing though. Overall this is a quality game that I would reccomend! Lots of fun and very customizable and the characters are very cute and have a large range of emotions.

I bought this game the day it came out because I LOVE makeup and thought this would be the perfect game for me. And I was right!! I think the best part of the game is changing your hair style/color, makeup and clothes everyday, even multiple times throughout the day! You get to help clients with their makeup and learn techniques and looks along the way! Also, you get to do fun activities and get rewarded in gems for each working task you complete. You even get to flirt with boys!! If you are a girly girl like I am, this game is definitely for you!!!

This was the first Imagine game I bought... This game was amazing! It lasts for only a day..if you constantly play it. (It lasted me about a week) You get to learn alot about make - up as well. You start out being an intern at the Make Up Manor. and help clients with make up...most of them want to impress boys...plus it's cool because if you do a good job with their make up you get to go and see how their problems worked themselves out. I love this game so much because you get to also have your own style as well and create your own persona. I and a late teen and I even loved this game! Imagine: Make Up Artist is a very entertaining game!

I cannot recommend this game more. The teniques you learn are very useful, it was a great feeling when I passed the pro license test, and was asked out on a date. For all the parents out there, this is a completely safe game, with no violence, language, or anything. If anyone in your family loves makeup, boys, and a challenge, this is the game for you!

I did not like this game to much because it is to confusing and its hard i mean when i got this game for Chistmas i thought it would be amazing because i love makeup and fashion but.....not exactly what i had expected.I also do not think this game is very appropriate for the younger age.I do not like this game.

I am Holly, age 9. I thought maybe it would be boring but I LOVE IT!!! You do peoples make up, Get a lot of part time jobs, take cool tests, and of course flirt with boys. you end up either marrying or becoming a pro makeup person. The pro test is cool,and i like the makeup shop. alexis is nice, i dont think alex is really interesting. This game is too short, I beat it 5 times in 3 days, playing it almost nonstop. It has a really short and bad ending. But it rocks. All girls would enjoy it, like makeup or not. It is really educatonal, with all the makeup tequniques.

I got Imagine Makeup Artist when I saw it at a store, thinking I'd enjoy it a lot because of the sheer cuteness of the style. And I was right!

At the beginning of the game, you're asked to choose the type of girl you want to be from three choices, but it doesn't really matter, because later on you'll be able to buy new hairstyles and outfits for your character.

The one thing is, it can get a little bit tedious scrolling through the game's large amounts of dialogue, especially the makeup lessons and tests. But the good thing about it is that the game controls are very easy to grasp quickly. You just use your stylus to apply mascara, eyeshadow, lipstick and so on.

I also enjoyed the fact that your character can hang out and go on dates with the three male characters in the game, who you can encounter by going to different spots around the town. If you go on enough dates, the boy's like of you will increase.

Image Makeup Artist certainly isn't for everyone. There are long spaces of dialogue, tough requests and the game is relatively short, since each month you are at Makeup Manor is divided into two section with a Weekend feature in between. (For example the game goes from Early September, to a Weekend, to Late September.) Its graphics are cute and relatively well-done, but at times the game is a bit repetitive because a lot of the requests are similar or the same. At times, it has minor glitches - if you click on one request, the request won't load and you'll have to turn off the game. However, the game overall was a great purchase, and three months later it's still fun!

I bought this for my 10 year old niece. She thinks this game is one of the greatest. The other one is Fashion Designer by the same company.

I'm 13 and when i grow up I want to be a makeup artist so i thought this game would be fun and helpful. When I played this i got addicted! I LOVE THIS GAME! This is my favorite Nintendo game i've ever played! I started it on the plane and wished the plane ride was longer so I could play more! This game is Fab!!! It is the perfect length, and a great mixture of excitment, fun and challenge! I would recommend this game to anyone. At some parts it is really hard to get it right but its super fun and it doesnt matter that much, it just makes you want to play more!!! When buying an Imagine game you have to be careful because sometimes they are really good but they can also be really bad. Like this game was GREAT but another game about babies was not so good.

This is a really fun game,you get to do so much, but at the end I was expecting a free play sort of thing but it just ended and I got really dissapointed.if it had a freeplay in the end, I would've given this a five star review
