5.0 out of 5 stars LOVED THIS GAME!
I loved this game so much.It does not have the greatest graphics but it is still fun.You can choose from diffrent shoes, shirts, pants, skirts, and dresses.Sadly you can not choose make-up but thats ok.You can change the hair though. This game is really fun and not too hard.I reccomend it for girls ages nine and up.If you like this game i reccomend Imagine rock star.

2.0 out of 5 stars 10 year old dislikes it
This game was fun at first. You know, create an avatar, pick a kind of movie. But I soon discovered it was the same mini game over and over again. I also had no choice whatsoever in what to do next. I am sorry I spent any money on that game. I strongly advise you not to buy this game. Now I know why I got it so cheap.

2.0 out of 5 stars This Game Sucks!, February 15, 2009
= Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Imagine Movie Star (Video Game)
I wanted this game because I thought it was like a "choose-your-adventure" type game where you're given various scenarios, you make your choices and the game adjusts, and gives you one of its various endings. My husband got this for me as a christmas present, because he knew how much I wanted it, and that's the ONLY reason why I'm keeping it. Other wise it would've went back the same week. It kept me busy, but the longer I played, I realized the game has absolutely NOTHING to do with being a celebrity. You play these dumb games over and over while you're supposed to have interviews, dates with your Hollywood "Hunk", and you're only given minimal choices when it comes to choosing managers, stylists, and your apartment decor. I feel they could've at least made it more appealing by letting the gamer choose their situations and actually answer interview type questions while the dumb games could've been used as a means to earn bonus points (NOT FANS). And don't let me forget, the graphics are not so hot either. You're supposed to create different fashion looks for your fans but how can you tell what looks good when it looks like you have a crooked smile or missing teeth everytime you zoom in? Vague instructions, how are you to know what the game is even asking for? No way to tell. I actually tried to play a 2nd time, and to this day, I have not finished it. The game sucks. Save your money. Buy something else instead. NY Fashion Designer is better. This Xmas I'm asking for diamond earrings.

1.0 out of 5 stars Boring, Boring, Boring!, January 7, 2009
= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Imagine Movie Star (Video Game)
This game is soooo boring! Don't be mislead by what the game is about, as I bought it thinking you would get to actually be the person attending the premieres and dates and choosing what your character does and so on. But this game is not like that at all! It is kind of like a dance mat with a touch screen. Everytime you get a new level such as "first date", "first premiere", "dance all night", etc. You have to touch the pictures with your stylus when they hover over them. It is soooo boring! The only thing you get to choose is the look of your character, but even then there aren't many choices to start with. All of the outfits are ugly and not very customizable and the hairstyles are pretty much all short with limited colours. Your manager doesn't give you any advice like it says, he just tells you what to do and you have no choice in the matter. So overall this game was a waste of money and I do not recommend it to anyone!

This is a horrible game. I thought it would be fun at first, but I was wrong. All the activities (going on dates, getting interviews, etc.) all you do is touch objects when they slide into the right place, like in guitar hero. When you design outfits for your fashion line, you don't get to be creative. You have certain criteria (long hairstyle, sleeveless shirt, miniskirt, and heels for example) and you have to choose stuff out of your wardrobe, so you don't get to design anything.

It also makes it seem like being a movie star is all about going to premieres, getting interviews, and dealing with paparazzi. I think being a movie star is hard work and only fun sometimes, not all the time.

Basically, it was a bad game, horrible graphics (my character looked like it was foaming at the mouth), and boring. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

5.0 out of 5 stars I LOVE THIS GAME SO MUCH I CANT EVEN STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, December 17, 2008

This game is very fun. You can design your own character with lots of fun clothes, then you have all these different things like movie premieres and dates. You even make your own fashion line! It is truly the funnest game ever.

I can never stop playing it. Not only is the first round fun, but there are all different levels. It gets tricky, and I suggest you start with the easy level, then go to medium, then try to unlock hard. (P.S. They work very had ro make level Hard difficult and they did a VERY good job.)

I would suggest this game for children 7-12. It is too difficult for a six-year-old, yet a teen might find it boring. You can decide between managers and all too! Seriously, I think your daughter would love this game for the following:
Birthday
Christmas(or Chanukah, Kwanza, e.t.c.)
Any special occasion
ANY TIME!!!

Now buy it.

I love almost all imagine games except Interior Designer. This game is fun because its like watching a movie star come to life on the red carpet. You get to pick and design the clothes which I like. Its very involved. I haven't finished playing it as yet but so far I give it 2 thumbs up.
