5.0 out of 5 stars My 9 yr old Loved this! May 25, 2010
Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
I'm a mom of a 9 yr old girl who really enjoys this game. She loves the activities of interviewing rock stars and firefighters. She loved piecing together film splices (a lot like fitting a puzzle together) and she loved the seek and find games. She's choosing to play this game over all the others she owns. She hasn't finished to the end yet but really enjoys it. You can catch my full review on Night Owl Mama just google it and the name of the game.

I love the note taking part of the game. She has to pay close attention and take good notes in order to get that part of the game correct. It gives her praise when she gets it right and lets her know when it's not perfect. Every child needs to be told when they do something well whether it be in a game or in real life. This is a good game for girls

5.0 out of 5 stars A review from an 8 yr old December 28, 2010
A Kid's Review
Fun: 4.0 out of 5 stars
This game is totally awesome! You go around town and ask questions, write, scoop, and much more! If you don't have the diplomas, you go to school and learn the stuff you don't know with your teacher. Then once you get your diplomas you report to your boss and he sends you to work. You go visit firefighters, moviestars, basketball coaches, and the science teacher. You go on the news and do radio. If you do not pass the level you were on, you go back to school and do the stuff you learned all over again. You will love this game!

A Kid's Review
Fun: 3.0 out of 5 stars
I'm a 10 year old girl. I finished the game in one month. But I did like all the challenges! Though I would have rather have a different game after I finished the game. :/

3.0 out of 5 stars Nice Game but could be better. September 2, 2012

Fun: 3.0 out of 5 stars
The game is decent, however some of the tasks are a bit tedious or dare I say , boring. My daughter who is 9 played it a few times, but it is definitely not her favorite from this series. The girl character is blue eyed blonde. Not that this is a problem, however,it would be nice if the game a variety of characters that the child can choose to play as. Boys also may want to play at being a reporter and being able to choose would be nice. It is fine to pass the time and if you can purchase it used or at a nice discount.

3.0 out of 5 stars Imagine, Reporter too simple December 29, 2011
Verified Purchase
My daughter received this for Christmas (on a Sunday) and by Tuesday had mastered it. She really enjoyed the game, and, yes, was plaing with her brand new DS excessively during that period of time, but I was disappointed that there was really no writing involved (for some reason, I was under the impression there was) and she 'beat' the game that quickly. I don't think it was a good investment because she mastered it so quickly that she very graciously called it useless now. Bummer.

4.0 out of 5 stars Okay September 28, 2014

This game kind of bores me and I'm not really sure why, at one point I wanted to be a reporter when I was younger, I don't know guess you could say I lost interest. I feel as if Nintendo could have done better here!
