Review

One does not need to look any further to discover all you need to be a princess or just pretend to live like one because it's all there in Imagine You're a Princess! Young female readers can become princesses by following a step-by-step guide of six simple tips that covers fashion and beauty advice, etiquette, and decorating tips. In addition, readers get a sneak peek at some of the items that belong to princesses, things such as bejeweled gowns, priceless shoes, jewels, and other accessories. Readers can also achieve princess status by applying some of the charm and social behaviors. A list of essential life skills and proper etiquette is provided.... Imagine You're a Princess! would be a great addition to public and school libraries. Highly Recommended. (Ming Wong Canadian Materials 2006-03-03)

This is a fun book that talks about what it used to be like to be a Princess and how anyone who feels like a princess these days can indeed be a princess.

It's cute and imaginative. Funny and clever. A cute little reference to finding a Prince has the Prince himself caring for the Princess who is adventures and fun rather than beautiful but vain.

It has cute illustrations and fun recipes and even a couple of activities.

Girls with a sense of humor and a desire to be a good and kind Princess will love this book.

This book talks about how to be a snobby brat and refers to that as being a princess. I can't believe the author was able to get away with calling this a children book. According to the book, you are a princess if you are mean to the nice kid and have boys flocking to your very desire.

It starts off saying a princess is someone who is married to a prince. This book suggest things of a princess that are not realistic or lady like. I was shocked that the book would suggest a dating agency for princesses and dropping a handkerchief intended for a prince to pick up. I would not allow any girl under the age 10 to read this book. However, it follows some other typical princess books and has a few good points. I would label this a comedy book for older "snooty" girls possibly pre-teen to teen.
