5 stars, buddy. 5 stars if not MORE! Stop with the Neocon crap. You've ruined the damn country, already. I'm aware that we no longer teach art in school. The song is a meditation, alright, the man is thinking. A peace classic.

Imagine a world of peace. Imagine a world of blue skies, clean air and clean oceans. Those of Lennon's generation knew what the world was headed for and John wrote it in this song. Those of the upcoming generations must do something about it because we failed to do something about it fast enough.

This song is simply amazing. Can i say more? The song asks you to imagine a better world full of peace. Its John's dream and every time i listen to it i get chills. His voice is just that beautiful.
- This song and "Working Class Hero" are must haves.

It's not about peace....,

It's about a world of nothingness - not peace. Search on Nutopia in Wikipedia and learn about John's and Yoko's "world."
"Lennon commented that the song was 'an anti-religious, anti-nationalistic, anti-conventional, anti-capitalistic song, but because it's sugar-coated, it's accepted.' Lennon also described it as 'virtually the Communist Manifesto'." I learned about this by watching Evan Sayet's video. Search on Evan Sayet in YouTube and pick "How Modern Liberals Think." I'm sorry to burst the bubble, but while it sounds good, it's actually a depressing song. I gave it two stars just because it sounds good. |
