Imaginext DC Super Friends Mini Figure Batman

My son got a batman figure in a Kinder egg, it was an obsession for a while and yet so frustrating in that it kept coming apart. I ordered this toy hoping to relieve both his and my frustration with that. As Kinder batman fell apart time and time again, frustration grew and out of self preservation this became an early Christmas present. It is awesome in the eyes of our son. 3 weeks after receiving it, out of the blue, my son called out from the back of our vehicle this morning, "thanks for my early Christmas present Mom, my early Christmas present is awesome!" It is durable, creative, has potential for expanded play due to its compatibility with other IMAGINEXT toys and is a little companion for him.

This is a great toy for little toddlers that are just getting into the superheros. My son who just turned 3 plays constantly with his small figures and I'm so happy they are making these toys for the younger kids! Lots of fun.

Most of the Imaginext Batman stuff is pretty awesome, but the retractable grappling hook that comes with this is among my favorites. Batman can hold onto it, you can hook it on something above him, and then let go and see Batman scale the wall. Must have! The mini Batwing is something my 3yo son loved, as Batman could then legitately "fly," in his mind anyway. The jetpack attaches to Batman --and other characters that might "steal" it... Fun.

The Imaginext Bat cave is awesome and the toys that go with it are as well. My son loves this toy! The grappling hook thingy really works! Awesome! Would buy again and would recommend. Imaginext is a SUPER VALUE.

This little toy is my sons absolute favorite batman accessory. Batman grips a little handle on the black thing, pull out the string, then it retracts pulling batman up. It works so well and never wears out. He has pulled that string hundreds of times and it is still going, it makes a neet sound as it retracts as well.

Batman has a cloth cape. The rest of the items are soft plastic (bendable). My son can put the bat "wings" on and off himself (he's 3 yrs old). The bat grappling hook is a little harder for him to manipulate, but it does indeed pull batman (even with wings) off the ground. Batman is about 3 inches tall. He stands by himself until you put the wings on, when he is "back heavy" and falls over. My son doesn't care because he's not really standing him at all but holding him.

My 3 year old nephew went crazy when he opened this! I gave him this and the shake n go batcycle. I expected him to get more excited for the batcycle but he loved this!

Speaking from personal experience as once being a little boy, boys love action figures. They are open-ended enough to allow you to use your imagination but defined enough with characters and weapons to give you a sense of what they are supposed to do in your "world".

Fisher price is a great company that makes good toys. I'm glad they have this line to introduce young ones to the action figure/superhero universe.

I got this for my 3 year old son for Christmas and he absolutely loves it. Takes it all over and watches cartoons with it. The wings are good because they fit on other figures in this line and he likes to put them on Superman (for some reason). The figure is durable and the grappling hook thing works well even after hundreds of uses.

This little toy goes well with the Batcave, but is also lots of fun on its own with a string-pull claw that pulls Batman up onto any thing your imagination will give him to do. No batteries, a good toy to keep in your handbag when littlies are getting bored.
