Astonishingly good book, September 30, 2009
This review is from: Imaging of Orthopaedic Fixation Devices and Prostheses (Hardcover)
The preface states that this book is is "most useful to practicing radiologists and radiologists in training," and that "Other physicians who deal with orthopaedic problems will also find the information provided in this test extremely useful." Well, I'm not a radiologist, but I would wholeheartedly agree with the latter statement (I'm in Rehab). This book provides a mind numbing number of superb clinical images that have excellent captions and associated figures that explain what you are looking at -- extremely clearly. Countless teaching points. Just the right amount of high-yield clinically-oriented text as well. The images are crisp, clear and of the highest quality. Very well indexed. One of few books I have truly been satisfied to have purchased. Frankly, in light of just how MUCH book you are getting for your money, this is probably UNDERpriced! FYI: I have no affiliation with the author.
