Great manipulative puzzle.
Great for little ones who like animals and puzzles. Good for developing problem-solving and visual skills and using their imagination as my child's dogs come to life, with different barks of course!

Two Doggies Broke Immediately
We rec'd this puzzle as a gift for my 20 month old son. While still in its packaging it was intact. As I started to peel away the plastic wrapping, the largest dog's tail broke off and left a sharp place on the body. I had been very careful, but the wood is not as sturdy as other wooden puzzles I've handled. I then allowed my son to look and hold the remaining pieces,...

We rec'd this puzzle as a gift for my 20 month old son. While still in its packaging it was intact. As I started to peel away the plastic wrapping, the largest dog's tail broke off and left a sharp place on the body. I had been very careful, but the wood is not as sturdy as other wooden puzzles I've handled. I then allowed my son to look and hold the remaining pieces, and he was being gentle, but the tail broke off the little gold doggie. These pieces are not sturdy at all and I would not suggest this puzzle for any child, as the ease with which they fall apart is heartbreaking.
