Imagiplay's fish rattle was one of a few wooden rattles I bought on Amazon, and the packaging says the following:

"ages 5+ months
Ethically handmade in China.
Earth friendly and child safe.
Handcrafted from managed-forest beechwood and finished with beeswax, a natural anti-septic. All-natural. Non-toxic."

I'm trying to pick up non-toxic things for my child, but I've usually been avoiding things made in China. I do like this rattle, but I'm a little concerned because I know that China has different standards and requirements for their manufactured items. I will probably stick to toys from Palumba or Maple Landmark.
