Some of the best indy out there, not to be missed, January 28, 2010

This final album from the Looters is a triumphant blend of rock/funk/world beat with a touch of "big band sound" provided by the Tower of Power horns.
Matt Callahan's social activism shines through in the thoughtful and provocative lyrics (WARNING TO PARENTS: not squeaky-clean language at all times, if you are threatened by your kids hearing "unacceptable words" then move on).
Ultimately, a first listen provides surprise after surprise - not a single track that made me want to hit the "skip" button. After that first listen, it just gets better and better!
This one is not to be missed, a true gem in the indy music scene.
