5.0 out of 5 stars Comfy for years
I've been using this wrist rest for years and I love it.

Unlike the gels and pads, this one moves with you, while giving support. It's filled with small beads, so it flows into the shape that you need at the moment.

Short and to the point this bean bag puts you at an awkward angle when you use the mouse. I find I am putting more stress on my hand and wrist trying to angle my hand downward to navigate the mouse.

I've been using this wrist rest for years and I love it.

Unlike the gels and pads, this one moves with you, while giving support. It's filled with small beads, so it flows into the shape that you need at the moment.

Puff it up and stand it on end so that your wrist sits in the middle when you are entering numbers on the keypad. It's the perfect height for right hand entry on the keyboard. Then slide it back to the mouse, roll it with the palm of your hand into the flatter shape you see in the picture. That's the perfect shape for the mouse.

It's very flexible, yet provides excellent support.

It also stands up to heavy duty abuse that the other types of rests don't. After years of major use, the seams in my ergoBead rest are still tight, it's lost no beads, and still provides great support! (Several keyboard gel cushions have seen the bottom of the dustbin in that time.)

Edit: Two years later I'm now on my second ergoBead wrist support and I still adore it. When I wrote the first review I'd just begun working online and using my keyboard and mouse more than ever. I bought a second ergoBead support at the time I wrote the review and I'm still thrilled with it two years later. Imak Ergobeads Wrist Cushion for Mouse Non-Skid - Black #10174.

5.0 out of 5 stars Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, September 15, 2008

I once got to try this out while working as a sub, and my wrist has been uncomfortable without one at home. Now that I have it, my wrist is a happy wrist, and now that I have my home ergonomics complete, I can continue work from home and be pain free. It provides superior wrist support and the beans inside adjust when you move your arm around. Your skin does not stick to it, and it can breathe comfortably while you use the mouse. My only regret is that I didn't get it sooner!

5.0 out of 5 stars Supportive and fun!, August 5, 2008
I've used this wrist rest for over a year (that's with heavy-duty gaming and as freelance editor) and have not regretted getting it. Recently my workplace gave me another brand of (very uncomfortable) beaded wrist rest *cough*Kensington SmartBeads(TM) Wrist Rest*cough* to which I promptly stuffed it in a drawer and bought another just to use at the office. I'll never be away from my IMAK when it comes to working at a computer!

I like it pretty good, have had this for a month now. Comfortable, squishy like feeling of the massage type beads inside of the bag, but has good support. The covering is a somewhat stretchy like material. Can be hand washed and air dried laying out on a towel. Has stopped my wrist pains that I was getting since my Gel Pad wrist support died.
Still like the Belkin Gel Wrist support the best, but this will do till it wears out. Had the Belkin Gel for 3 yrs. before it split on top.
Got this one as a gift but both are good although I would give the Belkin Gel a 5 star rating for being real easy to clean, good wrist support. The IMAK would of got 5 stars if it were not because of the cleaning hassle when it comes time to do that.

I love using this wrist cushion. I have an old one; but it had become quite worn out. The new one makes my wrist feel great as I use my mouse.

5.0 out of 5 stars Your health is important, August 4, 2008
I gotta say, that I was skeptical about these things, but as an individual who sits at a computer for more than an hour a day, getting any kind of strain in my wrists is not a risk I'm willing to take.

I was looking around for a cheap way, just to support my wrists, ended up picking this up, just as a guess at Compusa, and just loved it.

I use it always under my wrist for the mouse, giving me absolutely no strain on my wrist, even after hours of gaming. It also provides a nice stress relief and distraction, cause it's fun to squeeze and throw around.

Quite possibly a great deal, instead of thousands of dollars on carpal tunnel surgery down the line.

Tried at home and in the office and determined using the "ole fashion" way of just laying my hand and wrist on the desktop it was easier to control the mouse and felt more natural and comfortable.

The IMAK Ergobeads Wrist Cushion is a great buy! It was exactly what we were looking for. For somebody who is on the computer all day for work, it really helps provide relief for your wrist. The beads are much more comfortable than other wrist cushions I've tried before. This product is completely worth the price!! A great buy.

4.0 out of 5 stars Relief for Wrist Pain, October 23, 2010

This review is from: Imak Ergobeads Wrist Cushion for Mouse Non-Skid - Black #10174 (Health and Beauty)
I've been experiencing some wrist pain for a few months and needed to find a way to relieve it.
(I use a mouse about 8 hours a day, so I needed something comfortable.)

I've been using this product for a few weeks now and it has helped a lot.

Seems a little expensive for what it is - basically a small bean-bag.

I will shop around to see if I can find a cheaper product but, if not, I'll buy another one for
use at home.

definitely recommend this to everyone. It's also a great stress reliever as I find myself just playing with it at the desk and throwing it around the office playing catch with other employees.
very supportive and just comfortable.
