This product is NOT a wrist brace, it is merely a wrist-support, meaning that is allows you to move your hand freely.
That being said, I am a designer and will typically work all day at the computer. This glove definitely has helped to relieve stress in my wrist, and quickly cleared up all my carpal tunnel symptoms. I like the look of it, it is quite comfortable, and the reversible design allowing you to put it on either hand is also a great feature. However, I do not believe this product to be very well made since soon after I began using it, the stitches began to come out. This has not caused any issues yet, the glove is still intact after about half a year of use. But, my biggest complaint would be the fact that this glove gets very funky very fast, I assume due to bacterial growth. Typically even after one day of using this, the glove will begin to smell and make your hand smelly. I highly recommend getting a similar product made from anti-bacterial material. I own a wrist-brace made from anti-bacterial material and it never gets stinky.

IMAK Computer glove,

I love this! It was recommended to me by an occupational therapist. I have been using ergobeads mouse wrist rests, but they have tended to get moved around or fall off my keyboard tray. This glove puts the wrist rest on your wrist so it follows you between keyboard and mouse. They don't tend to heat up your hand, either. The one drawback is that the wrist rest does get in your way somewhat if you have occasion to pause while computing to write something down with pen or pencil.

Extremely Satisfied,

I do a lot of typing at work and I use my computer at home for hours on end. I started to have a very strong pain in my right wrist. It got so bad that I would have to stop using my mouse at home. As soon as I started using this computer glove, the pain went away. I've been using it for about six months and my wrist feels great. I can now type and use a mouse for hours & hours without feeling any pain. I'm using it now as I type up this review! I think the instructions say that it must be hand washed & left out to dry, but I've use a regular washing machine & dryer and it has held up fine so far.

Computer Glove w/ ergoBeads - Carpal Tunnel Relief]]
I work with books and the computer at the same time. These versatile gloves make it easier to keep a proper angle with my keyboard and mouse. I think the next time I buy a type like this I will get the metal plate in it to assist better at reminding me of wrist positioning. I have found that using these glove has helped with the pain and numbness in my hands (onset of CTS). These are definitely worth the money if you have to have a multifunctional area to work in. I found I could wear the gloves while doing other task easily without having to take them on and off. They take a short time to get use to wearing.

I was skeptical when i opened the package i was expecting to see something more firm and stiff ... i did not think it would work. But i tired it out and in the 1 month i have been using the glove i have not felt that pain in my hand at all.
I also really love that the glove protects my wrist bones from callouses. I use the computer a lot and i have callouses on my wrist from using the mouse so much. I wish I had known about this glove 10 years ago. It is great just for preventing callouses even if you dont have carpal tunnel issues.

I've been experiencing swelling in my wrist from an inflamed tendon, as well as pain in my elbow and shoulder from the long hours I spend on the computer. When I first started looking for a solution I planned on getting an ergonomic mouse pad and keyboard support, but happened to run across the IMAK Computer Glove. I thought it was a better idea because I wouldn't have to deal with two things and could also bring it with me to use on ANY computer. When I first started wearing it I wasn't getting any relief but I wanted to give it a fair chance. After about a week I noticed that the swelling in my wrist was going down and I didn't have any pain in my elbow or shoulder. The results were gradual, but amazing. Another benefit is that it's so comfortable, I forget to take it off. It is fairly loose on my hand, so I can't comment on how comfortable it would be for someone with larger hands. I highly recommend this product! I am curious to know if IMAK makes a glove for those who are left-handed.

I have never written a review, but always find the reviews other people write extremely valuable. I injured my hand, I think the tendons weeks ago and needed some sort of brace. I ordered two different kinds, one more supportive and this one. There is no support with this glove, they should not use the word "support" in the description. The glove is too big, it feels like a sock is over your hand. Save your money and get a support with real support!

Its just good to show someone that you are wearing some medical gloves. Thats it !!! Believe me. Your Pain wont be less and the beans are places in such a place that you wont be able to type it in your laptop. It was not what I expected from its description.

This glove is very comfortable -- not as hot as others that I've used. It does exactly what I need it to do. Reasonable price!

This product in the short time I've had it is already forming clumps of the "ergoBeads" inside of it and the fabric is pilling.
That being said it does help, though not as much as I'd like.My hand has a nasty painful knot where it rested from using my mouse. That is still there but the padding prevents it from hurting worse than it already does. The durability is my only real issue with this product. |
