Works as advertised. Its like a fingerless glove with a beanbag in the palm. Helps with typing, but makes mousing a bit of a pain. If you have large hands, and tree trunk wrists, the largest WILL fit, but will be tight (not enough to cut off flow or anything), and getting on will be a fun experience. The bar along the back isnt as long or stiff as you think, but you...

1.0 out of 5 stars Terrible Product
The Imak Smart Glove is meant to keep wrist in a ergonomically correct position, and increase comfort and circulation, but it doesn't come close to the promise (see Cons). Simple put, this a horrible product. Don't waste your money, returned in 24 hours of arriving.

PROS: Washable and Reversible.

CONS: Where to start?
1. The cheap plastic...

If you have large hands, and tree trunk wrists, the largest WILL fit, but will be tight (not enough to cut off flow or anything), and getting on will be a fun experience. The bar along the back isnt as long or stiff as you think, but you immediately notice it when you start to tilt your wrist like you are not supposed to. It is designed for right hands. They say to turn inside out for the left hand, but that doesnt work like you think because of the bar. Was worth the cost to try it out.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fixed my wrist pain, January 13, 2010

These things helped me get over some wrist pains I was having while doing work that involved a lot of typing and repetitive motion (vigorously shaking bottles). They worked much better than braces I had from former sports injuries, and have comfy built-in (though not bulky) pads that are really comfortable while you type. They're reversible, so they'll work on your left or right wrist, though one side has a tag that some might find itchy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Makes the pain go away, June 11, 2008

The pain in my mouse hand was getting so bad I was worried that I would have to eventually have surgery so I could keep working. Then I discovered one of these beauties and everything changed. This is a product that actually works!

If I didn't wear my Smart Glove I'd be unable to work within a couple hours, but with it I can go all day. The bean bag conforms perfectly to my mouse and doesn't get in the way at all.

Be aware that these gloves can be really snug between the thumb and forefinger. I measured my hand by their guide and ordered a medium but it was very tight. I returned it for a large and it was much better.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Computer Gloves, January 13, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Imak Smart Glove Large (Pack of 2) (Health and Beauty)
I've used these gloves when I'm in my personal computer, every day, for at least 9 months. I had to wash them only once, since are very breathable. It's a real relief for your wrists, I've never used wrist gels because I have a huge mouse pad (I'm a gamer and I need reaction space, accuracy, etc.). Yes, it takes time to adapt, but when you do it, you can't use your computer without them. The pressure makes you feel comfortable does not numb your hands or fingers. You can even use them for any other activity.

I have to admit that the position of my right hand (which uses the mouse) have changed because of this gloves. I have to raise it a little more, so that the gel package of the gloves don't touch the mouse pad; BUT, I have to admit also, I've have improved the use of the mouse, since I can use all the upper buttons more quickly, now in all of the games played I use more space, my hand don't get tired, and I don't get the gamer callosity for constant friction with the mouse pad.
Left hand which uses the keyboard, also have changed, but not that obvious compared to the right hand. It doesn't affect at all the use of the glove, since the gel package do not touch the keyboard.

I work at an AGFA PACS workstation daily, as a physician. This is a a great invention since it reduces my hand and wrist fatigue at the Radiology Viewbox. This is a spandex glove that is reversible for right or left handed use. The palm has a compartment that contains many tiny beads that helps the user keep the wrist in the optimal angle on any surface. The back of the glove has a firm gel insert for support of the back of the wrist. The glove is comfortable and really accomplishes its purpose. It works well for a laptop, also.

If you're tired of wrist rests or other attachments for your computer, this will satisfy your needs.

Highly recommend.

My wrists were in extreme pain whenever I had to edit after a long court stenography deposition. Once I used the Imak gloves I found immediate relief and quickly over a short period of time I no longer felt the carpal tunnel syndrome. I am extremely grateful because I was already contacting a doctor who performs surgery for carpal tunnel and now I won't need the surgery.

I have purchased 3 of these gloves for home and work. The fit is comfortable and the sizing is right. My son spends 8+ a day on a computer and also wears the Smart Glove. I would highly recommend this product.
